icaragua es otro país de la región que no se queda atrás en inversión aeroportuaria, este año estrena tres estaciones aéreas internacionales con costos estimados en los US$33 millones, para atraer el turismo.

La estación aeroportuaria más reciente, es la del pueblo de San Juan del Norte o Greytown, en el departamento de Río San Juan, fronterizo con Costa Rica, con una inversión de US$11 millones. Esta tiene una pista de 1,200 metros construida para aviones de 19 pasajeros, la cual se ampliará 300 metros más, lo que permitirá el aterrizaje de aviones de hasta 46 pasajeros.
The most recent airport terminal is in the town of San Juan del Norte, or Greytown, in the department of Rio San Juan, bordering Costa Rica, with an investment of US$11 million. This terminal has a 1,200 meters long runway built for a 19 passenger aircraft, which it will be extended 300 meters, allowing the landing of a 46 passenger aircraft.

La aerolínea transporta a unas 60,000 personas cada año desde Roma a La Habana.
Italian airlines Blue Panorama, to schedule flights services from Nicaragua to rest of Central America To the airport terminal investments, it sums-up the interest of Italian airline Blue Panorama, which will schedule flights as of July 2012 from Rome to Managua, with stop-over in Havana, and plans to offer services from Nicaragua to the rest of Central America. Francisco Pecci, President of Blue Panorama airlines, said that Nicaragua “is a country of countless promises, and high assurance” gathering a great future “not only economic but also touristic.” The airline transports about 60,000 people each year from Rome to Havana.

n inmenso puente de 262 metros de extensión, 11 de ancho y 40 de altura, se elevará sobre el Río San Juan de Nicaragua para fomentar el comercio, el turismo y la integración regional. El proyecto que inició en junio del 2011, estará concluido para el año 2014, según estimaciones oficiales. El mega-puente financiado por la Agencia de Cooperación Japonesa (JICA), tendrá una altura que permitirá el paso de embarcaciones de gran calado por debajo de su gran estructura.
ith 262 meters long, 11 wide and 40 meters in high, this mega-bridge is being elevated on El Rio San Juan of Nicaragua to promote trade, tourism and regional integration. According to officials, the project which initiated back in June 2011, will be completed by 2014. The mega-bridge funded by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), will have a height that will allow the path of deep draft vessels under its great structure.

Cerca al área de construcción de la mega obra, se encuentran diversas comunidades, entre ellas: Las Tablillas, Los Chiles, Melchorita, Melchora, El Espavel y Las Azucenas, cuyos pobladores se dedican a la agricultura, a la pesca y servicios turísticos.

os peligros y riesgos asociados a la aviación siempre están latentes en las operaciones aeroportuarias. Existen aeropuertos con mayor o menor grado de riesgos en su operación, en función de factores como: geografía del terreno donde está construidos, proximidad a áreas pobladas, hábitats que conviven con el espacio aéreo, e intensidad del número de operaciones de aerolíneas que operan, condiciones de clima del área, sólo para mencionar algunas”, afirma Javier Martínez Botacio, director General del Consejo Internacional de Aeropuertos – América Latina y el Caribe (ACI-LAC).

En Centroamérica todos los aeropuertos cumplen con las normas establecidas en materia de seguridad operacional por la OACI, de otra manera no operarían, agrega Martínez Botacio Para garantizar la seguridad organismos como ACI-LAC desarrollan diferentes proyectos, entre los que se destacan: El Proyecto ACI APEX, o Excelencia en la Seguridad Operacional en los Aeropuertos, para identificar y mitigar vulnerabilidades en temas de seguridad operacional. El Aeropuerto recibe cooperación técnica, y asistencia para identificar brechas en temas de seguridad operacional con relación a las normas OACI. El primer proyecto piloto se desarrolla en el Aeropuerto de San Pedro Sula. Otro proyecto es el Programa de Apoyo para la Gestión del Peligro Aviario y se realiza en conjunto con FAA, ALTA, IATA y la cooperación del Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos, este pretende mejorar los programas referentes a la mitigación de los peligros que representan las aves en las áreas de aproximación o circunvecinas de los aeropuertos. Los proyectos pilotos se desarrollan en Tocumen (Panamá) y Guayaquil (Ecuador).

The airport receives technical support and assistance to identify gaps in safety issues in regards to the OACI standards. The first pilot project is being developed at the San Pedro Sula, Honduras airport. Another project is the Aviary Hazard Management Support Program, carried out in conjunction with FAA, ALTA, IATA, and with the cooperation of the United States Department of agriculture which aims at improving programs relating to the mitigation of the dangers the birds represent in areas of surrounding or approximating airports. The pilot projects are being developed in Tocumen (Panama) and Guayaquil (Ecuador).

Asimismo ACI-LAC trabaja con las oficinas regionales de la OACI de México y Lima para la implementación de los Equipos de Seguridad Operacional en Pistas. Los equipos están integrados por aerolíneas, proveedores de servicios de navegación aérea, y las autoridades de la aviación civil de los Estados, busca identificar e implementar planes de acción conjuntos para los incidentes y accidentes de salidas e incursiones de pistas. ¿Qué es ACI-LAC? El Consejo Internacional de Aeropuertos de América Latina y el Caribe (ACI-LAC) cuenta con 58 miembros que operan más de 260 aeropuertos en 37 países de América Latina y el Caribe y brinda apoyo para que el sistema aeroportuario sea seguro, eficiente y sostenible. ACI-LAC tiene entre sus prioridades la Seguridad Operacional, la Seguridad (AVSEC) y la Sostenibilidad, esto permite a los operadores contribuir con un sistema de transporte aéreo seguro, eficiente y sostenible en el largo plazo. The teams are composed by airlines, air navigation service providers, and the State civil aviation authorities, seeks to identify and implement action plans for both, accidents and incidents in exiting and entering of runways. What is ACI-LAC? The International Council of Airports - Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) has 58 members operating over 260 airports in 37 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, and provides support for the airport system to be safe, efficient and sustainable. The ACILAC has among its priorities, the Operational Safety, the Security and Sustainability (AVSEC), this allows operators to contribute with a safe, efficient and sustainable air transport system at a long term. The ACI-LAC ratified their actions within the framework of the Assembly held in 2011 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with the Declaration about Operational Safety, on the 20 year anniversary occasion.

oda actividad de exportación e importación, tiene un proceso logístico que implica costo, tiempo, calidad y seguridad. Esto tiene como objetivo final que la mercancía llegue a su destino en el menor tiempo posible, al menor costo y en óptimas condiciones. En esta actividad se involucran agencias de cargas, de aduanas, navieras, Ivania Medina (ANAC). líneas aéreas y empresas de transporte terrestre, entre otras. A quienes realizan esta actividad se les denomina operadores logísticos, los que en un futuro pasaran a ser Operador Económico Autorizado (OEA). En Nicaragua los operadores logísticos cada día tienen un mayor rol en la facilitación del comercio. Para desarrollar mejor su trabajo procuran involucrarse cada vez más en todo el proceso, siendo determinante para ello el manejo de información. El concepto de Operador Económico Autorizado se origina en el marco normativo de la Organización Mundial de Aduanas (OMA), para facilitar el comercio

The final objective is to make sure the goods arrive at their destination in the shortest time possible, at the lowest cost, and in good condition. This activity involves loading, customs, shipping agencies; and also airlines and transportation companies, among others. Those who perform these activities are referred to as logistics operators, which in the near future would be called Authorized Economic Operators (OEA). In Nicaragua, logistics operators play a great role in trading, developing a better job, and increasingly seeking involvement throughout the process, which is crucial when managing this information. The OEA concept was originated within the regulatory framework of the World Customs Organization (WCO), to facilitate global trading. The OEA include the logistics chain of players, from suppliers to carriers, port operators, airports, customs agents,
