ABSTRACT Amber is a historical settlement, located in the semi-arid climatic zone of the country. It is situated 11 km north of the capital city Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. The concepts related to water conservation and its transportation have been a crucial component of the traditional knowledge systems belonging to the region. This paper focuses on studying the water lifting mechanism in the Amber Palace. The water lifting mechanism incorporates a four stage system. The system has both mechanical & manually operated systems, through which the water was carried out from the Maota Lake to the tank situated in the Keshar Kyari and then further transported to the height of 45 m with the help of pulley system. This paper aims at understanding the historical aspects of water lifting system and mechanisms involved and analyzing the same to calculate the energy consumed in lifting the water from lake to the Palace. The analysis would be used for comparing cotemporary practices and a conclusion has been drawn on how to implement the ancient practice into the modern practices of water lifting and the designing of the structure to function efficiently. Keywords: Amber Palace, Maota Lake, Sakia wheel, water lifting system
INTRODUCTION The historic town of Amber is a former princely capital of Dhundhar Kingdom of Kachawwa rajputs. This capital was established in 1036 CE by Kakil Dev and it continued to serve as capital until 1727 CE, when Sawai Jai Singh II laid the foundation of a new capital city ‘Jaipur’, 11 km south of Amber. Being a capital town for seven centuries Amber town has several layers of historic building activities. However the major building activity happened in the princely capital during late 16th century & 17th century when the rulers of Amber were serving in the Mughal Court at Agra & Delhi. The construction of palace of Amber commenced in 1592 CE under the patronage of Mirza Raja Man Singh and the palace was continued to be built upon until the capital was moved by Sawai Jai
Singh II. The most significant contributions made to Amber Palace have been during the reign of Mirza Raja Man Singh and Mirza Raja Jai Singh I. According to the local beliefs the water lifting system of palace complex was built during the reign of Mirza Raja Man Singh during his rule. This water lifting system was principally built to draw water from the Maota Lake which houses the Keshar Kyari. The study of the water lifting system at Amber Palace enabled to develop an understanding of traditional practices used for lifting of water from a low level to a high level using human, animal and mechanical power. Energy consumption calculations were done for this traditional practice and caparison was

ABSTRACT Intelligent machines become more genius, more useful, more autonomous and more streanthful, the questions of how they should choose their functions and what target they should pursue become critically important. Safety must be taken into design and all stages of machine intelligence like installation, adjustment, operation and implementation of software engineering. Designing upon the examples of intelligent learned system from innovative technology, we propose a motivational system flowing from a modern invariant superintelligent that is optimal safety for all the machines themselves to low-level to high-level “impressions, motions, and consideration effects” and other safety engineering system to assure reasonably “right” behavior even under conditions of ambiguity, unexplained, and error. Keywords: intelligent machine, machine safety, innovative technology
INTRODUCTION There is little question that safe intelligent machine will either be one of researcher’s biggest aim or one of its most tragic boxes. While it is a fact that computer programs will only do right what they are told to do function, the same can also be said for safe intelligent system. And, just as in the technical facts about those entities, the problem is coming up with a set of like or dislikes instructions that won’t cause more and worse problems than they solve [1]. Some researcher and engineers believe that we should follow the three laws of safety machine and design our machine like a wise thing to first prevent harm to humans and then to do whatever humans tell them to do function and only then, after those other priorities, to safe their own. This continuing belief is somewhat disconcerting since scientist focused on his safety machine stories upon the shortcomings and dangers of the laws intentionally created to be superficially engaging but incomplete, uncertain, and thus allowing him to generate interesting
thoughts. Indeed, as Roger Clarke shows [2] the best use of technical thoughts is as an exercise in thinking through the ramifications of a design and development in this case, seeing why it won’t work. The futility of preventing all harm to all human being, particularly when man desire to harm each other, eventually led to a great engineer Asimov’s safe intelligent machine developing on zeroth law “A safe machine may not harm a person or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to loss or harm” that allowed individual trouble to occur for the over-riding good of humanity. In this modern innovation however, this focus on harm eventually led to the machine exiling themselves to prevent doing harm despite the fact that the good that they could have done probably would have enormously outweighed the harm. On the other hand,

Implementation of FPGA-Based Vector Controlled Three-Phase Induction Motor Drive Abrar Ahmed1*, Kavita Yadav2, MukeshKumar2, Vinod Kumar2 Department of Electrical Engineering, Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Rajasthan, India 2 Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Technology and Engineering, India 1
ABSTRACT In this paper, a design method of Indirect Field Oriented Control (IFOC) of three phase induction machine, based on Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) is proposed. First the mathematics model of the IFOC drive is defined then to increase the performance of the drive system, a fuzzy logic controller constructed by a fuzzy basic functions and applied to the speed control loop of the induction motor drive system to cope with the effect of the system dynamic uncertainty and the external load. The validity of the approach is verified through simulation based on the MATLAB/Simulink software using fuzzy logic toolbox. Finally, experimental verification is carried out using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) to validate. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed drive system are compared with those of conventional PI controller. The comparison results illustrate good transient response and reduction in the torque ripples of proposed controller. Keywords: field-programmable gate array, fuzzy logic control, induction motor, vector control
INTRODUCTION Several researchers have explored that the vector-controlled induction motor drive offers better dynamic performance [1], and it is widely used in a number of industrial applications. Normally, a vector controlled induction motor is fed from a currentcontrolled or voltage-controlled inverter [2, 3]. This drive requires fast regulation of the currents through its windings [4–7]. For this, these type of inverter [2] is normally employed, because they have capability of regulating the motor currents in a desired manner. In most of the application for wellregulated speed and torque controller, proportional-integral (PI) controller are sufficient. In additional cases, state feedback control is needed to accomplish a more precise control of the induction
motor drive. Classical control theory and linear system theory are well understood but are highly complex and required prior control system knowledge to develop a well-designed controller [8]. To preserve the robustness of controller with system parameter variations and external load disturbance, many studies have been made on motor drives [9–12], including feedforward control of the observed torque [10–12]. Even though, the conventional controllers still require the exact mathematical model of induction motor. Besides, conventional controller may produce overshoot or longer settling time in case of load

A Review Paper on Power Improvement Using DVR Harjinder Singh* Department of Electrical Engineering, K.C Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab, India
ABSTRACT Power quality is one of significant worries in the present period. It has turned out to be imperative, particularly, with the presentation of refined device, whose execution is exceptionally delicate to the nature of power supply. Power quality issue is an event showed as a nonstandard voltage, current or recurrence that outcomes in a disappointment of end utilize supplies. One of the real issues managed here is the power sag. Sensitive industrial loads and utility distribution networks arranges all experience the ill effects of different sorts of outages and service interruption which may bring about a huge money related 1oss. To enhance the power quality, custom power devices are utilized. The device considered in this work is DVR (Dynamic Voltage Restorer. This postulation presents demonstrating, investigation and reproduction of a Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) test system utilizing MATLAB. In this paper, PI controller and Discrete PWM beat generator are utilized for the control reason. Here, various fault conditions are considered for linear and induction motor load. The part of DVR to repay stack voltage is researched amid the diverse blame conditions like voltage list, single stage to ground, twofold stage to ground shortcomings. Furthermore, the use of DVR to remunerate the issue of beginning voltage plunge for enlistment motor is additionally explored. Keywords: DVR, load, MATLAB, PI controller, PWM
INTRODUCTION The electric power system is thought to be made out of three useful squares generation, transmission and distribution. For a dependable power system, the era unit must create satisfactory energy to take care of client's demand, transmission systems must transport mass control over long separations without over-burdening or risking system security and circulation system must convey electric energy to every client's premises from mass power systems. Appropriation system finds the end of power system and is associated with the client straightforwardly, so the power quality primarily relies on upon circulation system. The explanation for this is the electrical appropriation organizes disappointments represent around 90% of
the normal client interferences. In the prior days, the real concentration for power system unwavering quality was on era and transmission just as these more capital cost is included in these. What's more their deficiency can bring about far reaching disastrous results for both society and its surroundings. In any case, now a day's dissemination systems have started to get more consideration for unwavering quality evaluation. At first for the change of power quality or unwavering quality of the system FACTS gadgets like static synchronous compensator (STATCOM), static synchronous arrangement compensator

A Brief Report on Establishment of Solar Dusk Dawn System in Prestige Food Mills Company, Dewas Rohan Muley*, Advait Kale, Pooja Dabhowale Department of Electronics, Mahakal Institue of Technology and Science, Ujjain, India
ABSTRACT Solar photovoltaic dusk dawn system is an innovative energy saving device is used for automatic On/Off of street light, at present ambient sun light intensity. Solar dusk dawn system thus makes proper use of grid power and increase life span of pole lamp for an optimum period. The system is highly reliable and efficient for years of flawless operation. Solar panel is been also used for charging battery, which is providing supply to the switching circuit. Hence we can say it is a self-powered circuit. Compactness of circuit has made this more suitable to use anywhere. Keywords: LDR, photovoltaic, sensor, solar dusk dawn system
INTRODUCTION Solar dusk dawn system is an easy and simplest technology but the work or purpose which is evolved with it is of greater importance. Today in the modern world we talk about energy conservation, global warming, green earth, ecofriendly, any single step from anyone of us for this key terms may be small but of extensively benefit. Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Dusk Dawn System is an energy saving device used for automatic switching of street lights making proper use of grid power and increasing the life of the lamps by operating the street lights from sunset to sunrise [1]. Our project is just a small initiative towards it. Solar dusk dawn systems is just performing automatic switching of light at the time of dusk and dawn, basically turning on of light at time of evening and switch it off at the early morning. Circuit is artificially intelligent enough to take decision when to switch it on and switch it off. It checks the presence of the sun light in ambient atmosphere, it sense out the intensity of natural light and then take the
best decision which suits the condition. The system has the inherent advantage of automatic setting of switching timings irrespective of whether it is winter or summer thus making it a totally unmanned operation [2]. Solar dusk dawn system is simply an energy conserving device which is saving the electricity as there are crises are going on, because we have a limited sources for producing the energy. Thus it is intended to save the energy which is wasted during the early morning and early evening. In manual switching system, street lights are turned on at time of 6:00 PM and they remain on for entire time upto 8:00 AM. Thus the concept behind the project is to save the electrical energy which is been wasted around 3 hours of morning and 45 minutes in evening. Thus by saving electricity we are not only saving energy but we are also saving
