Sektöre yakın olmamıza rağmen bağımsız b r derg konumuna geld kten sonra aslında sektörün ne kadar çok şlenmes gereken konusu olduğunu da daha y anladık. Mevzuatından aracına, şoföründen firmasına, yolcusundan muav n ne b rçok farklı başlığı barındırıyor bu sektör. With the third issue of MY BUS Magazine, we've once again taken our seat on the table. Despite being close to the sector, after becoming an independent magazine, we've better understood the amplitude of topics in the sector that needs to be studied. This sector includes many topics from regulations to vehicles, drivers to companies and passengers to assistants. The subjects are different for interurban passenger transportation, service transportation and even municipality services.

We will try to focus on all of these topics as much as we can.

For this issue; we've thought that we should take a closer look on one of the strongest brands of the sector, Temsa's performance in the Antalya region. And starting with the companies that operate in this region, we've focused on this brand by handing the microphone to all related authorities like our drivers and assistant personnel that work within these companies as well as their passengers. Another headline is about Daimler AG's Setra brand. We've observed Setra's story from its birth lands in Germany's Ulm city. For us, it has been a very colourful and different experience. The brand has gained recognition around the world with its innovations and through our pages; you can witness the brand's history that stretches from the past to today.

With half of the year behind, we've witnessed that the bus market has recessed about 35 percent compared to the previous years; despite the increased production. Even though manufacturers don't foresee a pessimistic chart for the rest of the year, the high performance of especially some brands supports this positive approach. Despite the large problem in the tourism sector, we hope that the market's status shall fall into place by the recovery of the sector.

In addition, we've also tried to bring all that has happened in the bus sector during the last two months, into our content. I hope that you will enjoy reading them.

The summer arrived late but it has brought a regrettable amount of hot weather with it. All corners of our nation almost burn by this heat. I hope that it shall recover to its normal course without either harming anyone or our nature.

I would like to end this article by wishing that the second half of the year shall be much better and efficient than the rst half on all aspects.

IPRU's Board Of Directors meets at Comvex Fair Chairman A. Fatih TAMAY;

"Our goal is an IPRU that has a say in the world" International Passenger Road Transport Union (IPRU) has organized a Board Meeting at Comvex Istanbul Fair. Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Croatia road passenger transportation Association Presidents and Directors have come together at the meeting under the presidency of the Chairman A. Fatih Tamay.

New strategies have been discussed at the meeting where Tamay said: "With the contributions of all our members, we will continue our efforts to carry IPRU to a position of power in the world." He has underlined that in order to achieve it, an NGO that is built on solid foundations, that has completed its institutionalisation, that has determined its short, medium and long-term strategic goals and that has delegated its duties is required.

During the meeting, Somali Express Bus Transport Association's (SEBTA) membership applications have been unanimously accepted by the IPRU's Board of Directors and an official signing ceremony has been made. In his statement after the signatures, Chairman A. Fatih Tamay said: "We are very happy about the increasing number of our members as well as the expansion of our geography, we will continue to grow by taking rm steps."

The next meeting will take place at Bulgaria's Plovdiv city in October.

Temsa marka araçlar d ğer markalara göre çok daha ekonom k, mal yetler düşük. Kullanımda da avantaj sağlıyor.

"Temsa is very important for our customer satisfaction"

One of South Mediterranean Travel Company's shareholders Nihat Tezcan has been inside the sector for 55 years. Nihat Tezcan not only transfers years of experience into his work but also always prioritizes customer satisfaction and that's why he prefers Temsa once again because both Temsa and South Mediterranean Travel satis es their customers! We've made an interview with Nihat Tezcan that has extended from the structure of the South Mediterranean Travel Company to why they've chosen Temsa.

Basically we have a very stressful job; I can say that we are practically living with stress. Firstly, from our passenger to our captain, each and everyone have different responsibilities. Other than that, there is no infrastructure for our sector; schools don't raise quali ed personnel for our sector. In that sense, we have some problems. In addition, with the recent advancements in the airlines, our sector has transformed into a much different dimension.

We always try to keep our services at the highest level of standards. We always prioritize the satisfaction of our customers and put great emphasis on it. In order to ensure that satisfaction, we train our personnel and make sure that we are working with individuals that are compatible with our company's structure. After each trip of each vehicle, we make sure to call some of the passengers that have travelled on that trip and receive their feedback and demands about our service quality. Of course, it is very hard to please everyone but to date, most of our feedback has been positive.

When we are making our vehicle purchases, the rst thing we consider is the preferences of our passengers. We choose the most comfortable vehicle for our passenger. Another criteria for our preference are its affordable cost. We pay attention every detail like fuel consumption, maintenance requirements, spare parts costs etc. We prefer brands that provide customer satisfaction as well as higher advantages compared to other brands.

Currently, including our contracted vehicles, we have 55 vehicles. Temsa makes up 70 percent of our eet. Temsa constantly develops its vehicles; its vehicles adapts to the day's conditions. In addition, their services are up to our standards.

Temsa's vehicles are much more economic compared to other brands; they cost less. These vehicles also provide advantages while using them. Temsa pleases us and I believe that it will continue like that.

Right at its own location, we've listened to the customers and passengers of one of the strong brands Temsa about its performance in the Antalya Region. For this le, we've made individual interviews with its important companies and the passengers they serve, right at the eld and looked for an answer for the following question: ‘Are Temsa vehicles as strong and advantageous as they are claimed?'.

TEMSA'S INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (YG) TEAM SHARES ITS TEMSA SMART 2020 PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES ITS INDUSTRY 4.0 APPLICATIONS, AT SÜLEYMAN DEMIREL UNIVERSITY'S INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS' (IEEE) TECHNOLOGY DAYS On Friday, 13th of May; TEMSA YG Team has shared its program under the "TEMSA, Smart Products Will Be Manufactured In Smart Factories, TEMSA Smart 2020 programs on their way to Industry 4.0" at the Technology Days organized by the SDÜ-IEEE Association. In addition, they've also informed about the innovative, electricpowered and smart busses MD9 ElectriCITY, Avenue EV and Avenue IBUS that have been developed by TEMSA. SMART 2020 program has been shared under the Big Data, 3D Printer, Robot Assembly, Smart Storage System, Visual Factory, Smart Devices and Smart Warehouse Management subjects.

TEMSA's content also included Transportation of the Future and Mega Trend. During the presentation, new ideas proposed by students and academicians have been directed to Temsa's Open Innovation platform www.yenilikciyiz.biz. Thus, they've also introduced the Open Innovation contest titled as the Temsa Smart Transportation Of The Future, which will start accepting registries in June. At the end of the event, questions of students and academicians have been answered. They've been recommended to follow YG's announcements on TEMSA YG's web address and to share their innovative ideas through krimvar@temsa.com.

Iveco Crealis bus is the undisputed leader of mass transportation Designed in line with urbanisation, social harmonisation, sustainable development and urban mass transportation, the bus offers an ideal solution for municipalities as a de nition of the word metrobus.

Temsa Sales Director Murat Anıl has indicated that they've sold 112 large busses and 350 midibusses during the rst four months of the year and that they've managed to increase their marketshares for both product groups over 30 percent: "For us, it is a source of happiness and pride that Temsa's sales increasingly continue in the shrinking market."

Temsa Sales Director Murat Anıl has met the sectoral press at Feriye Restaurant on Tuesday, 24th of May. Sales Manager Baybars Dağ, Corporate Communication Manager Ebru Ersan and Marketing Manager Feridun Tanır were present at the meeting where Murat Anıl has made an assessment of the rst quarter of the year. He has underlined that, despite about 36 percent constriction of the large bus market in the rst four months compared to the previous year, they've reached a successful level: "In the rst four months of the year, 378 busses were sold in the market. Temsa has managed to acquire 30 percent of the shares by selling 112 units. As Temsa, we've managed to raise our market shares up to the 39

Murat Anıl has indicated that the Prestij SX has won the approval of the customers in the midibus market and has underlined that, at the end of the 4 months; it has achieved about 34 percent of the marketshares by selling about 350 units in a 1040unit market. Murat Anıl has emphasized that the Prestij SX continues to add Prestige to the services of tourism and personnel carriers: "We receive very positive feedback with the new Prestige. It is the leading product of the 27-seat segment. We believe that our Prestij SX will carry us to the leadership in 2016, just as it has in 2014-2015."

Electric bus market will grow Anıl has indicated that they've started the era of smart bus in urban transportation with the smart mobility. He has also stated that the MD9 electriCITY - which they've introduced with their "The air of the city will change" motto - will operate in Adana Metropolitan Municipality's eet that the current positive results will contribute to the faster growth of the electric-bus market for the future.

Murat Anıl has emphasized that they've started the era of smart bus in urban transportation with their Smart Mobility motto and said: "Despite this

year's marginal course of the urban bus market, our Avenue is one of the leading products of urban transportation. With Istanbul-Izmir in particular, it adds quality and comfort to the urban transportation of many cities of our nation. We believe that the urban transportation tenders will restart and that the market will continue its growth in the following term. Our Avenue will direct the future of urban transportation with its smart features."

TEMSA's fuel consumption advantages Temsa Sales Director Murat Anıl has indicated that they've made a swift entrance to this year with the launches of their brand new products: "In their feedback, the users of our Euro 5 norm vehicles have said that they've pro ted with the advantage of their fuel consumptions. Medipol Başakşehir, one of the teams of the Spor Toto Super League, will use TEMSA's bus during the new season.

Medipol Başakşehir has chosen TEMSA's recently launched upper-segment vehicle MARATON as its team bus. Manufactured at TEMSA's Adana facilities at world standards, the MARATON has been delivered with a ceremony at İstanbul Başakşehir Football Complex. Başakşehir Football Club's President Göksel Gümüşdağ, Vice-President Mesut Altan, Coach Abdullah Avcı as well as the club's players Emre Belözoğlu, Volkan Babacan and Mahmut Tekdemir have received their new team bus from TEMSA General Manager Dinçer Çelik.

At the ceremony, Göksel Gümüşdağ has stated that they've witnessed the production of the MARATON at TEMSA's Adana facilities and that the team will now travel more comfortably with the bus.

TEMSA presses towards 5000 busses in the French market TEMSA exports to 66 countries across the world. It moves step by step towards 5000 unit level in France where it has the highest amount of vehicles among its export markets. Lastly, TEMSA has sold another 42 busses to France.
