I intended to take panoramic views of London from strange angles. I’m also going to merge the images together to create photographs of how I see the city.
Won Ju Lim Ju Lim projects landscape images onto different objects such as boxes, walls off buildings, glass squares to achieve different varia*ons of the same images. His images aMer being re photographed look abstract and surreal because of the way the object that he projects the image interacts with the landscape and bends it. Ju Lim is able to produce numerous different varia*ons of the same landscape photograph. This allows him to explode different angles that the image can be viewed from. I want to try and create similar quality images that Ju Lim goes with my landscape photographs. By projec*ng them on different surfaces that have different angles .. I think this would add to9 the character of the images making it more surreal than it is. This will also allow the audience to view it in a different more unique perspec*ve.

Nishino creates his art work while he is walking around different ci*es in the world and taking thousands of images of objects that are interes*ng. He then spends a lot of *me crea*ng one big image of that city from loads of small individual photographs. This series of city artworks is called Diorama Map he recreated the city he walked around from memory and his photographs. This technique of collaging individual images has create a surreal city from a real city due to they way that they fit together and are miss matched. Those puzzle like large images add a sense of confusion because its Nishino interpreta*on and memory of the city, its created how he sees the city I have been inspired by his work to make my own panoramic and layered images that represent how I see the city of London when I walk around it . I will use loads of different images and small individual pieces of the images to create my own city map.
