Introduction
Did you know there are hundreds of ways to make art? In this book you will find a lot of information about art. In this book you will find a lot of different topics like cave drawings, what colors change to when you mix them, and much more. You will walk into a bright room and there are tons of kids making sculptures. A kid is making a painting another kid is doing a drawing. WOW! There are so many different kinds of art. Materials You Can Use For Art There are a lot of materials for art like oil pastels,markers and crayons. Also to make shapes you can use templates. If you mess up on something there are supplies to fix it. The materials are sponges if you are painting,erasers if you are drawing with a pencil,if you are doing 3D (3 Dimensional) and you got glue on the base or wall by accident then you could grab a wet paper towel and wipe it of. To make a beautiful drawing use paper,pencils,colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, all different kinds of things. If you are painting you should grab a paint mat and put it in front of you. Next you take 2 paintbrushes and put it to a side, next take a box of paint and put it in front of you.
What Colors Change To When You Mix Them If you mix blue and yellow the color you get is green. To make the color brown you have to mix the colors blue,yellow and red. If you mix the colors red and yellow you get pink. To make the color orange you have to mix the colors reddishorangish and red. If you mix the colors white and gray the color you you get is black.
Materials You Can Use For 3-D Sculptures To start you need a wooden base. If you want after to add a few details you can use pipe cleaners,because they can make your sculpture more colorful. To keep paint from spilling use a plastic food container. If you want to make a house with a roof then you can use a shoe box. If you want to make a carpet or a cloud you can use ripped paper. If you want to make a messy carpet you can use the paper.
Art Is More Than Painting Art is more than painting, you have to be creative and make or draw anything you want. Find a topic or something you really like to do and make it or draw it. While you are making art have fun. In 3D you can use foam blocks, food nets, plastic containers, well anything that you can just be creative! In clay I make different kinds of shapes like circles, squares, diamonds, triangles and other shapes. In drawing my art teacher gives me an idea to draw and I try to draw it. In collage you can get glue, colored wrapping paper, stamps, and other cool stuff.In fibers you use a needle , yarn and a design in your head.
Cave Drawings Men used to draw animals in caves. The men used to use special tools because they didn’t use paintbrushes and paint in the olden days. Cavemen drew cavemen and they drew pictures of them killing the animals. In the movie Ice Age there was a cave drawing that made someone remind him of his family that died. Cavemen killed animals in caves all the time.
