Introduction You’re running down the field, others are chasing you, teammates are yelling “I’M OPEN, I’M OPEN”, you’re so close to making a goal, you shoot everyones watching, the goalie is getting ready you’re feeling worried, the goalie misses the ball and GOAL! Everyone is cheering, yelling, screaming. You just got a goal in soccer . If you want to learn how to play, turn the page and read this book. Enjoy!
Chapter 1: What To Wear Shin Guard : The shin guard is a good thing while playing soccer in case you fall down or if somebody kicks you in the shin really hard. Team Shirt : The next thing you need is your team shirt. Having a team shirt is really important so you can support your team and everyone can tell one team from another. Cleats : Next you need cleats . The cleats help you turn better so you can get the ball and get a goal. Gloves :The next thing you need are gloves . If you have the job of protecting the goal you need gloves because if someone on the other team kicks the ball really hard you can catch it without hurting your hands.
Chapter 2: Equipment Goals : First you need two goals , one for one team and one for the other. The goals are important because they’re one of the main parts of soccer. Soccer Ball : The next thing you need is the soccer ball . The soccer ball is another very important part of soccer. If you don’t have a soccer ball, use a ball that’s like it. The Penny : The last thing you might need is a penny (as in the shirt) because if you’re playing with a league for kids, you might have the same shirts.
Fun Fact
Chapter 3: Places You Should Be Playground : The first place you should be is in a playground . The playground I’m talking about is where there’s little structure and grassy areas. Big Backyard : The second place you should be in is a big backyard . A big backyard is a good space because you have space. A big field : The third place you should be is a big field . A big field is a great place because it’s just like a actual soccer field except it doesn’t have paint. A large area : The last but not least place you could be is a large area. A large area is an awesome place you could be because you can have a lot of people play.
Chapter 4: Special People Players :The people who are really special are the players . The players are special because they do a lot of the work. They’re also the main people in soccer. Referee : The next important person you should know is the referee . The referee is very important because he or she calls halftime fulltime and etc. Coach : The next important person you should know is the coach . The coach leads the team and tells them what to do. That’s why he or she is important. Audience : An audience is sort of special. They’re sort of special because they cheer on the teams. Goalie #1:The last but not least is the Goalie . The goalie is important because he or she stops the ball from going into the goal.
Chapter 5: Positions Offence: Offence is a position where you're up in front of the field. Offence is where you try to get a goal. Defence: Defence stays in the back of the field. Defence players try to get the ball before the other team shoots a goal. Defence/Offence: The person who is in the middle plays defence and offence. So when the ball goes up the field he or she goes up the field. Same thing when the ball goes down the field. Goalie #2: The goalie stays in front of the goal. He or she are the only ones who can use their hands in soccer.
