Hello everyone! Hope you’re enjoying your summer! This month’s Spotlight on Service focuses on Going Outdoors, and there are many ways that you can help others and your community! JUNE RECAP

P A S T EVENTS

Bon Dance June 3-4, 2016

On June 3rd and 4th, me and a few other Key Clubbers volunteered to work in the food booths at the recent Bon Dance at Lihue Hongwanji. Our job was to be runners who took the orders and money from the customers and brought their food to them. This was the first time I've ever done a Bon Dance event for Key Club. I have to say that this is one of the more valuable experiences that I have had, especially with how I've gotten used to doing something that I don't normally do. We served a large number of people at this event and I became more comfortable with communicating with strangers. With all of the work we've done, it was worth it just to have memorable moments with my friends while providing food for our communities. Andrew Liberato

JUNE RECAP KAUAI

O T C

Officer Training Conference (OTC) June 18, 2016

This year's Officer Training Conference (OTC) will be a memorable one for me. I don't know if it's because I was already friends with our LTG, Cody Pinzon, but I had lots of fun and I know everyone else who attended did too. I also found it very informative and productive because we were able to have discussions about goals for our club and division, as well as learn about new positions and upcoming events. It got us thinking about how to work harder as a club and individuals. I can't wait until we can see everyone again at RTC and HCON. Kaylin Kukino
