To My Fellow Kiwanis Leaders, Hello, my name is Vivian Bui! I’m a current junior at Oxford Academy. First and foremost, I would like to express how honored I am to have been elected as the 2017-2018 Division 30 South Lieutenant Governor. Starting off, although Oxford Academy has an extremely academic-focused atmosphere, I have always tried to be active in my community outside of school. First of all, in Key Club, I currently serve as our home club secretary and as one of our division’s executive assistants. At school, I also serve as a board member in my school’s Art Club and Make-A-Wish Club and as an active member in HOSA and NHS. Outside of school, I participate as a Youth Board Director at Youth Leadership America, which is a non-profit organization that teaches business skills to high schoolers around Orange County. Throughout my high school career, these activities show my intense passion for serving our community; but amidst a hectic senior year, I will always remember that my first priority is to serve our Key Club members. Over my three years in this club, I’ve had the honor of serving as a club historian, club secretary, and division executive assistant, all of which have taught me how each level in our division functions. Starting off as a club historian, I began my Key Club journey on appointed board. During this time, I made it my goal to attend as many service events as I could. And along the way, I fell head over heels for service. Next year, serving as secretary, I learned the foundation of my home club along with the strengths and weaknesses that I hope to address as Lieutenant Governor. Lastly, as an executive assis-tant, I learned the basics of working on a division level and how to communicate with members from all schools. From handling event registration to contacting presidents to finding DCM venues, I’ve witnessed firsthand what a Lieutenant Governor does. But more importantly, my experiences taught me that Key Club is more than merely accumulat-ing service hours; it’s a supportive community of diverse people from different walks of life. Every service event, DCM, and Kiwanis meeting you go to is a step towards building a community that you are proud to be a part of. We are able to use our service to brighten up people’s days and lead each other toward change for the better. To say that Key Club has made an impact on my life is an understatement. Key Club has given me so much--from service opportunities, to new friends, to more confidence. With my new perspective, innovative ideas, and strong work ethic, I will do my best to accomplish these goals as I serve our members with burning passion. Together, we can create a SUNNY legacy for Division 30 South! I’m so proud to be able to serve Division 30 South for the 2017-2018. But even more so, I’m so excit-ed to work with you all. I really look forward to meeting you in person as well. With that, feel free to con-tact me at d30s.cnh.kc.ltg@gmail.com or call/text me at (714) 414-9991.
Yours in caring service.
Vivian Bui Division 30 South Lieutenant Governor

Howdy D30S... I am more than ready to give this division my all and I look forward to getting to know all the members... Whatever is needed at any time, I'll be there to help! I'm thrilled to be serving you... we'll reach new heights.
Sometimes I'm really goofy and sometimes I'm really serious. My friends tell me that I'm "one of a kind" ... I'm willing to try new things anyone would ask me and I suppose I just want to get along with other people and try what they like.
Executive Assistant
Anjika Morari Secretary Whenever I watch movies, there's a 90% chance I will cry. I play tennis, piano and some PC games as well... I also have a fear of mushrooms. Studio Ghibli Films are my favorite movies to watch.

Hi I'm Julianne and currently a junior at Oxford Academy serving as the Division Tech Editor. Some random things about me is that I laugh a lot and I'm great at procrastinating! Feel free to say hi to me if you see me!
Since I love horses, I usually spend my Wednesday volunteering at a horse ranch, where volunteers help disabled kids ride horses... I love spending time with my family, from shopping to eating together. Also, I like to spend my free time also reading manga.
Historian I like taking lots of photos for whatever occasions, and I love Key Club because of the friendships it helps to form and it gives us something to bond over. And I will most likely cry at banquet.
Eric Nguyen
Historian Hello! :)) I will probably be the shyest and most awkward person you will meet, but once you get to know me I'm very talkative! I love dogs, children, Korean stationary, Korean dramas, smiling, laughing, and traveling.

I am a hardworking person who tries to manage my time but does not work in the end... I do not have much hobbies unless gaming is a hobby. Something that I like is the cheers that we learn because it makes up more motivating events.

I'm loud as heck, especially my laugh. Oh my, my laugh is something else like I can't tell whether it sounds like a witch or a cat dying -- it's somewhere in between HAHAHA I'm probably the most random person you'll ever meet.

NIGHT NATION RUN Ethan Paguyo
Savanna The Night Nation Run is a new event titled the “First Running Music Festival.” The Night Nation is partnered with a charity called Stand Up To Cancer; so even though it was an event meant for fun, runners and volunteers knew that the event was also for a good cause. Though the most volunteers themselves did not get to experience the actual run, we still gained an interesting experience doing various tasks during the

THOUGHTS ON THE NEW TERM Huda Saleh
Oxford Hello everyone! With DCON ending a couple of weeks ago, I am excited to say that the new Key Club term has officially started! It’s bitter-sweet to think about this being my last year in Key Club and my last year of high school. At the same time, I am glad that I get to spend my last year serving all of you and making some more new and memorable Key Club moments. It’s so weird to think that three
