Happy New Years NYCKI! A new year generally means taking the time to reflect on the past year and put thought into how we can make the new year even better. As we do this, I would like us all to think in terms of servant-leaders. Think about how you give back even more than you did last year. How can you manage your time so that this is possible? Are you looking to take on a new leadership position within Circle K? This issue focuses on the various positions that are offered on the club and district level. If you are interested in learning more a specific position, please reach out to the about person holding the respective position that you’re interested in or speak to me directly for support. With about 75% of the service year completed, I am happy to say that we have accomplished a lot. We are on-track with our district’s service hour and fundraising goals and may even surpass our goals! You all impressed me by keeping me updated on all your meetings and events. I hope to be able to continue my visits during the spring semester and to meet more of you. If I don’t catch you on campus, I look forward to meeting you at District Convention! Don’t let the cold be an excuse to stay inside and lounge around; there is much to be done! Many cities organize free help to the elderly during the winter months and you can be a part of it. See if they need help purchasing groceries, shoveling snow, or running any other errands.
