Hello Wonderful Members of the New York District! With District Convention coming up, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to read my final issue of Stick with Nyck News and for your full support throughout the year. The New York District has made some impressive strides and we could not have done it without you and your club’s dedication. I’m sure that I am not the only one that’s experiencing this bittersweet feeling of the end of the 2013-2014 service year. For those of you who held a leadership position, you may feel like you did the best you could, or that there was more you wanted to accomplish. Whatever your feelings may be, remember that you were a huge part of a leadership team and made a difference. Also remember that you are never fully “finished” because it is now your responsibility to train your successor! For those of you who are fairly new to CKI and/or did not hold a leadership position, this issue is focused on encouraging you to take the next step within CKI! Lastly, I want to thank you serving the New York District, for helping us achieve our goals, and for making us the second largest district in CKI. Thank you great service projects you completed, for for the transforming into everyday heroes, for keeping up with what’s happening in NYCKI, for working together as a family throughout the year, and for inspiring me to serve New York to the best of my abilities. Know that everything you’ve done is appreciated.
