Welcome to a knockout Elimination game for the NBL1 Women for season 2019. It has been a great season so far for the Lady Hawks who finished third on the ladder at the end of the regular season. The girls had a double chance which is now needed after last nights loss to Geelong at Geelong. There is no excuses today and as the Lady Hawks must win if they hope to keep their Championship dreams on target. The Lady Hawks will need all their big guns firing with Farnworth, Mihalko and Mullings expected to lead the way. But the difference may be Danni Bone, Ella Ogier, Neehara Ravikuma, Jacqui Trotto and Amanda Meinking who have all shown they are capable of being impact players. Let me also say thanks for your support this year and we hope you have enjoyed the Live Stream coverage this year.
Welcome to the Rings Stadium and also to NBL1 Finals Basketball. It has been a great inaugural season for the NBL1 and we are very excited to be a part of the first Finals series. There is some incredible talent in this League and the next couple of weeks are going to showcase the very best. Coming off our loss last night in Geelong, the girls are now in a MUST win or be eliminated situation today. Depending on other results, we will be hosting either Waverley or Nunawading, which are both talented and dangerous teams. There will no doubt be some sore bodies after all three teams played last night but there can be no excuses at this stage of the season. We are going to need to be playing our best and we will need a full team effort. Mulling and Mihalko have been great this season and the addition of Toni Farnworth has been invaluable with her scoring ability. Defensive Player of the Year nominee Jacqui Trotto has gone under the radar at times but has been just as important as has Danni Bone, Amanda Meinking and veteran Kate Spillane. Young gun Ella Ogier has been in great recent form and Neehara Ravikumar and Jeena Skaria are always ready to provide a spark off the bench which has been a key for us this season. Thank you to everyone who has supported the girls this season. To our sponsors and volunteers, you guys have been amazing along the journey. Thanks to Physica who have kept the girls mobile during a tough season. We hope you enjoy the game.

THE MAGNIFICENT HAWKS MAZDA CX5
Back in 2015, the Ringwood Lady Hawks won their first ever senior State Championship. The girls won an exciting 3 game series over the Hume City Broncos. Game three was a cliff hanger but a big shot by Sarah Yousef and then import Amber Hegge closed out the win nailed a bank shot off the glass. Pictured is one of the Lady Hawks all time all round greatest players Emma Beddome, who was a huge part of this teams success. Emma was a team first player who was willing to play any role to help the team win.
