How do you support brokers? Flex’s insurance platform and fl exible residential strata product have been designed in consultation with our intermediaries, allowing them to quote, bind, endorse and cancel 24/7. Moreover, the Flex Insurance website provides signifi cant material and information, ready to assist brokers.

Have you introduced any new products recently? In October 2019, the brand and its Residential Strata Insurance product were revamped and signifi cantly enhanced. Applying broker feedback, we moved from a budget to a much more fl exible product. Further enhancements were made in February 2021, again through broker feedback.

Is there an agency achievement you’re most proud of? We were a fi nalist for the Best Digital Strategy – Underwriting Agency award at the 2020 Insurance Business Awards. Flex Insurance has continued to grow exponentially over the past 12 months, with more than 100% premium growth. The digital platform has been embraced by customers, with over 95% of quotes online.

How is your agency leveraging technology to improve its off ering? We o er the only platform where you can manage all parts of the policy online 24/7. We also o er a chatbot and undertake fortnightly updates to the system based on intermediary feedback to keep evolving.
