Areas of the zero depth pool will be closed from 6:00-7:15 pm for swim lessons. The dive pool will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm for Dive Team practice. Roselle Racers Swim & Dive Closings Kemmerling Pool will close at 4:30 pm for Wednesday meets, and open at 12:30 pm for Saturday meets. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. All Swim and Dive meets will be posted in the Summer Brochure.
Take Advantage of the Special Early Bird Savings! Senior rates for adults ages 55 & over Annual fitness members (Adult, Senior, Value, Corporate and Student) that have a valid fitness membership through at least July 31 are eligible to receive a 20% discount off their pool pass. Please note that only the fitness member(s) get the discount of their portion of the pass, not the entire family.

Pool Pass Holder Visitor Punch Card This card is only for pool pass holders. Bring your friends, family, and out of town guests to Kemmerling Pool this summer for a discounted price of $40.00 for 10 visits. Punch cards go on sale beginning April 1 and will be available for purchase at the Clauss Recreation Center and Kemmerling Pool.

• Payment must be made by cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. • Please note that children under 9 years must be accompanied by a paying responsible individual 16 years of age or older for Kemmerling Pool entry. • Children who are 24 and older or any other relatives/individuals in the same household will not be included on the family pass. • Parents or guardians must provide a copy of each child’s birth certificate. • Pool passes purchased under false pretenses will be revoked and NO refund will be issued. • There is a $5 charge to replace a lost or stolen pool pass. Passholders should keep their passes from year to year. A $5 fee will be charged to individuals who lost their passes from 2013. • A service fee of $15 per person (maximum of $30) will be issued for all pool pass refunds prior to opening day. No refunds will be issued after opening day. • Anyone not bringing their pass to the pool will be assessed a $3 pass look-up fee.

Roselle Swim School Your child will gain confidence and swimming skills that will prepare them for swim team or simply keep you at ease when at the pool. This program focuses on a progression of water skills that increases your child’s confidence in the water as they continue in the program. The skills are designed to challenge each swimmer to reach their full potential. Upon completion, each participant will receive a certificate of achievement. Age ranges are suggested. Skills listed are requirements to pass the level.
Parent-Tot: Guppy (DD) AGES 6-36 months This level focuses on increasing each child’s comfort level in the water to ease fear of swimming and the fundamentals of direction and what it is like to be under water. Instructors incorporate games and songs to make children feel comfortable. Skills: • Blow bubbles • Comfortable in water • Supported front and back glides • Kick feet in water from side of pool • Parent first entry • Standing bobs • Arm movements • Water entry to parent from side CLASS MIN/MAX: 4/10

Kemmerling Pool Rentals GROUP OUTINGS & RATES Group outings may take place during normal swim hours based upon availability. Groups of 15 or more must secure a reservation by booking an outing two weeks in advance to secure discounted rate. Rate: $4/person PRIVATE POOL RENTALS Private Pool Rentals are available after public swim hours and on limited weekend mornings. Volleyball net can be set up in main pool at no additional charge. Private rentals are available from 8:15-9:45 pm on weekdays and 9:45-11:15 am and 7:159:45 pm on weekends. Rate: $185/hour for Main Pool, Dive Well is additional $35/ hour.

Calling all swimmers…new and returning are invited to join the Roselle Racers Swim Team for a fun-filled summer at the Kemmerling Pool! The Roselle Racers are a member of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference. 8 & Under swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping; 9 & Up must be able to swim two lengths. Swimmers compete against individuals in their own age group.
This team is perfect for an experienced diver or someone just looking to learn the art of diving. Join Lake Park High School’s own Lacy Peters on the Roselle Racers Dive Team! Members of this team will be able to refine their diving techniques and learn new skills in practice and at meets. The end of the season will conclude with one conference meet with each of the other dive teams from the DuPage Swim & Dive Conference.

Camp Laugh-A-Lot (EB) AGES 5-12 MUST HAVE HAD 5TH BIRTHDAY BY 6/9 Camp Laugh-A-Lot includes a wide variety of children’s programs that combine education and fun, individual attention and group interaction. NEW this year, camp will be split between two age groups; 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. Camp will meet daily at the Clauss Rec Center, with a new theme and related activities every week. Are you looking for an opportunity to learn leadership skills that will help prepare you to get a job when you are old enough? Our counselor-in-training program may be just what you need! Counselors-in-training will work with Camp Laugh-A-Lot staff to lead activities, play games, and learn skills that will help prepare them for their first job. Please fill out an application packet at the front desk. Like Camp Laugh-ALot, 2 and 3 day per week options are available. Registration fees are attached to the application packet. Fish Release April 5 9:00 am at Turner Pond Help restock the pond at the Annual Fish Release at Turner Pond. THIS IS A FREE EVENT!
Participants are provided buckets to dispense fish into the pond. Dress appropriately as splashing and muddy conditions are likely. All ages welcome! Participants are asked to bring canned goods that will be donated to the Bloomingdale Food Pantry.

Summer Softball Leagues (VO) AGES 18 and up
Back by Popular Demand! Sign up your four person team for this exciting, unique team relay race and eating competition! The first 3 team members will have the daunting task of completing a 5K run followed by consuming one of the local dishes from Brunch Café, Serino’s, and The Italian Pizza Kitchen. To finish the race, the fourth team member (who does not run) must devour a giant, ice cream covered chocolate chip Rooskie from Roosters. All participants will receive a Dine N’ Dash 2014 commemorative t-shirt and a goodie bag with vendor giveaways and coupons. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams who complete the Dine N’ Dash in the fastest time. No on-site registration will be accepted. Co-Rec 14” Softball (Mushball) League (VO) AGES 18 and up We’re starting the season in May and ending early August so all you college kids can round up your buds for some fun and games and be back to school in time for the fall semester. Opening night is May 13 with games on the hour starting at 6:45 pm. Teams will play an eight game schedule plus playoffs. There will be a team trophy and prize money for regular season and playoff champions (not to mention bragging rights). Don’t forget some post-game laughs at a local establishment too! Included in these prices is a $75 forfeit fee which will be refunded following playoffs assuming a team does not forfeit a game during the season. Saturday, June 14 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Touch-A-Truck puts kids in the driver’s seat, where they can toot a horn of a mighty truck! It is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your children sharing a fun-filled family day. Inspect the equipment and meet the men and women who operate the big rigs.
