ll the family members of a 21year old newly married youth who allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 21st floor of a 27th storied building where he used to reside on Sunday morning in Charkop in Kandivli (West) are in confusion over performing the last rites on the body of the deceased. The deceased was identified as Amol Sanjay Kumar Chandan alias Abdul Samad Wahab, a resident of Saptarshi MHADA tower at Charkop. Deceased Amol alias Abdul got married to Tarannum (20) last Diwali after he fell in love with her. But he was not happy with the activities of his wife. In a message which he send to his mother, Amol wrote, "Mummy my wife Taranuum (gudia) cheated with me. She was regularly coming with other boys at resident in my absence. You can also check from cctv footages of the building premises and even you can check her whatsapp message history. I am committing suicide due to my wife." Deceased's mother Reshma said, “My child Abdul had a love marriage with Taranuum but he was not happy with her. He called me on Saturday late night and he was crying on phone and he told me that his wife Taranuum had given him divorce after serving him alcohol at his residence. Later in the morning he sent me a message on phone.â€? According to the police officials on Sunday morning at around 8.00 am, the deceased Amol was talking on the phone at his 19th floor residence. He seemed engaged in a wordy fight with someone on the phone according to his neighbours who heard his loud voice. A few minutes later he jumped from the 21st floor from the passage area. 1,150 cases registered in Mumbai hospitals

ven as the temperature in the city is rising, the H1N1 menace doesn't seem to back down as the number of cases registered in Mumbai hospitals has gone up to 1,150 on Sunday. There were 35 new cases of the virus registered and among these cases, there are 19 men, 16 women and 12 children who have contracted the disease and are undergoing treatment. Besides these, the Mumbai hospitals have registered 149 swine flu cases for patients who have been transferred to city hospitals from neighboring districts for treatment. On March 14, there were two deaths registered for swine flu in the city hospitals which took the death toll to 30 due to the virus. One of the victims was a 38year-old man and a resident of Mira Road. He was admitted in Bhaktivedanta Hospital on March 11 this year. But was transferred to Kasturba Hospital on the same day. He died on March 13 due to the disease. The second victim was a 42year-old woman and a resident of Raigad. She was admitted at Jiyadani Hospital at Raigad but was transferred to MGM Hospital at Borivli and later to Kasturba Hospital on March 11. She also died on March 13 due to the H1N1 infection.
