haratiya Janata Party (BJP) state legislature party (BJLP) yesterday picked its youngest fourthtime legislator from Nagpur South-West Devendra Fadnavis (44) as its legislative party leader, its Chief Minister designate. Last minute sulking from senior party leaders Eknath Khadse and Sudhir Mungantiwar was firmly set aside as the two along with Pankaja Munde-Palwe were asked to propose and second the

name of Fadnavis as the BJPLP leader. Fadnavis is all set to become the second youngest chief minister of Maharashtra on October 31. n a brief exclusive chat with the ADC soon after being elected as BJP Legislature Party (BJPLP) leader Chief Minister designate Devendra Fadnavis remarked that he will adopt the agenda of inclusive development, minimum government and maximum governance model set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Speaking further, he said that he will be

taking cue from the Modi government and keep it “slim and trim”. He also disclosed that some ministries which were split by the previous Congress-NCP led government will be merged.
