The gory incident took place late on Wednesday night around 11 pm when the accused, Gyansingh Thakur, reached the tailoring unit at Pramod Nagar slums with one of the victims, Asmat Shaikh alias Maaz. The other victim, Shahbaz Ahmad Shaikh alias Nhai, was present there with three other tailors.
