What a start to the racing year we’ve seen at the opening round of the World Superbike championship; this is the first time in 38 years MV Agusta has won a race at world level. Congratulations to Cluzel who enabled the Italian factory to make this welcome return to the top step of the podium. Michael Esdaile charts the factory’s rise back to the top on page 17. So far we’ve seen some great dirt machines in 2014 from the likes of Honda and Yamaha. But don’t think the Europeans are slacking, Husqvarna’s new TE300 two-stroke enduro is proof the European factories are making some awesome machines and listening to
their customers. Read more about the Husky on page 106.Meanwhile KTM’s Freeride 250R two-stroke has been winning over tester Dene Humphrey with its blend of lightweight, agility and accessible performance.
