The X-ring works on the same basic principle as the O-ring but takes it to the next level. Basically, the “ring” has a cross-section that is X-shaped, which adds a greater level of sealing and protection and half the drag of any brand o-ring chain. What all this means is that CZ X-ring ORMX Gold chain seals have less than half the friction of any o-ring type because the seals don’t have to be pressed as tight, so the seals last much longer & the lubrication stays in the chain much longer too... which means your chain will last twice as long as a o-ring chain.

ENDURO FEBRUARY 2012 - 18, KR Kid’s XC Cup Series (3 rounds), similar in concept to the Tarawera 50 race with modifications. 6-9 yr olds will race for 1.5 hrs, with classes that reflect their age and type of bike and experience. The course will be around 6-10 kms. The 2nd race will be for 8-16 yr olds, this time between 10-20 kms. Average speed will be kept to 36kph or less.

Venue for Round 1: Riverhead Forest, Waimauku at 9.30am. Round 2 will be at Te Koroha station, Oparau nr Kawhia on 17 March, with the final round at Waipuna Farm, SH22, near Naike on 14 April.
