Launched in 2017, The KNOW WomenTM began as a way to bring more attention to dynamic women doing remarkable things in the Phoenix metro. We knew there were an outstanding number of women impacting the community and making big strides in their industries. Our goal was to get those women out from behind their computer screens and into the public eye. Thus, we created the KNOW Book, a carefully curated publication that would feature vision-led women in a glamorous and authentic style. As the momentum grew and we recognized the need for more, we launched our Collaborative around the women featured in our KNOW Book. Our mix & mingles soon ensued and we witnessed incredible things happening. We saw our women doing business with each other, creating friendships, supporting each other, collaborating on projects together, and so much more. What started as a fun project to spotlight women, has turned into a full-blown movement. The KNOW WomenTM has expanded beyond its birthplace of Phoenix, Arizona; its aim is to launch in every major city across the United States and Canada.

Amanda Spearin is a Sommelier, connoisseur of wines, as well as a an entrepreneur. Dance Arts Academy Stage of Learning Preschool Dotty has a passion for dance
education and began teaching while attending Boise State University. In the spring of 2001, she purchased Dance Arts Academy and thrives on sharing the joy of dance with youth of all ages. She believes that dance has the power to change lives and have a positive impact, giving her the responsibility to share it! Dotty is also a member of the national non-profit organization, Darby’s Dancers, which offers dance education to children with special needs. As the mother of a child with special needs, she has seen first-hand how important programs like this are. Keeping education at the forefront of her pet projects, Dotty opened an academic preschool in the fall of 2016, Stage of Learning Preschool. Never letting a challenge stop her, Dotty was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2019, and beat it during the pandemic of 2020.

Isabel and her husband have lived in Idaho for 15 years with their 3 wonderful kids ages 13, 11 and 4. She started out as a natural light photographer for families and then has recently learned studio photography as well. Connecting with people and meeting new people is the biggest perk of this job for Isabel. When she’s not photographing people and brands, you can find Isabel outside with her family enjoying the beautiful state or running the social media for the coffee shop she and her husband own, Royal Coffee.

She has become a leader in Idaho, through her own initiative always seeking new adventures using her entrepreneurship platforms and contacts. As a consultant with Women Ignite International, the Idaho Women’s Business Center and now with her new business; Explore with Paige, powered by Dreams Travel Consulting, she will continue to utilize her skills and resources to provide excellent experiences for all her clients. Travel consulting is a new gig for her but traveling and consulting is NOT! Paige has been traveling her whole life, visiting 16 US states and 13 international countries! Her current bucket list destinations are Thailand, Africa, and the Dominican Republic. Whitney Kay Scott is Mrs. Idaho American 2020, a mother of two, wife and avid mental health advocate. Whitney’s mission is to help break down the stigma surrounding mental illness. Whitney realized the need to start the conversation on Mental Health about 5 years ago when she found herself suffering from a panic attack that led to anxiety disorder and deep depression. Whitney states “I remember vividly lying in bed googling my symptoms and just praying I could find an article that aligned with how I felt. I constantly found myself feeling alone. I decided if I made it out the deep dark hole I was in I would share my story with EVERYONE so no one would feel as alone as I did.” Whitney believes that by sharing her story in schools and events all over Idaho she can be an inspiration to help others struggling with their own personal mental illness and be an example that there can be a light at the end of the tunnel.

WOMENof IMPACT CHELSEA LARSEN For You Network Chelsea is the founder of For You Network, Inc., a nonprofit that connects people to resources and provides healing support through major life transitions & traumas. She produces an annual festival called KYMfest as a way to raise awareness of the impact of violence and provide opportunities for healing. She was called this mission after the tragic death of her younger sister, Kymberlee in March, 2018. KYMfest is also known as the KindYourMind festival, a movement toward reducing violence, healing trauma, shifting away from judgement blame & shame and moving towards compassionate, nonviolent ways of being.
