ALLISON IMRE

Grapevine Communications Ask any member of Grapevine Communications and you’ll find that it takes a balanced recipe of creativity, strategic planning and accountability to produce successful – and delectable – results for businesses, nonprofits and professionals of all tastes and styles. Spend a few moments with Owner/President/CEO Allison Imre, and you’ll learn that a dash of daring, a pile of personality and all the flavors and spices of a bi-coastal, wanderlust upbringing have made the perfect mix not only to grow this team and its book of business significantly, but to ensure a confident, contented collaboration of creative cooks with every client order. Allison was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, by a mother from Los Angeles and a father from New Jersey. She discovered her destiny for a career in communications at an early age, playing “radio” with family friend and veteran broadcaster Pete Gabriel. She later graduated from the esteemed University of Kansas School of Communications and studied under the same speaking and performance coach as Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis. Shortly after, Allison landed a position with the KC Royals, combining her two loves: broadcasting and sports. In 2007, she took her talents to Sarasota and joined iHeart Media as a Senior Account Executive. Here, she was honored with the Salesperson of the Year Award in both 2011 and 2014. In 2017, she acquired Grapevine Communications, taking charge of the agency’s staff of 20 award-winning advertising, marketing and public relations professionals. She’s lived in the Virgin Islands, on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico, San Diego, New Orleans, Lake Tahoe, Colorado and on the Suncoast. She’s a business owner, paddleboarder, cancer survivor, self-proclaimed snappy dresser and fantasy football champion. Now, she finds her most important role is setting a positive example for her six-year-old son Raymond and expanding the next generation of fearless, strong, spicy women with her daughter Ryan, whom Allison and her husband David welcomed to the family this summer.
