FOUNDER AND CEO
Launched in 2017, The KNOW Women began as a way to bring more attention to dynamic women doing remarkable things in the Phoenix metro. We knew there were an outstanding number of women impacting the community and making big strides in their industries. Our goal was to get those women out from behind their computer screens and into the public eye. Thus, we created the KNOW Book, a carefully curated publication that would feature vision-led women in a glamorous and authentic style. As the momentum grew and we recognized the need for more, we launched our Collaborative around the women featured in our KNOW Book. Our mix & mingles soon ensued and we witnessed incredible things happening. We saw our women doing business with each other, creating friendships, supporting each other, collaborating on projects together, and so much more. What started as a fun project to spotlight women, has turned into a full-blown movement. The KNOW Women has expanded beyond its birthplace of Phoenix, Arizona; its aim is to launch in every major city across the United States and Canada.

ELIZABETH AYERS-CLUFF IMPACT ONE Elizabeth Ayers-Cluff received her BSW in Social Work from Arizona State University. In 2009, at 37 she began her battle with breast cancer. After years of treatments and surgery came to an end, she realized that while there were all kinds of information about breast cancer awareness, prevention and research, there was very little support to help women in the trenches to help women in the “now”. She took her years of experience in the non-profit sector and formed Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation. She has assisted over 600 women diagnosed with breast cancer. The Hope Box program has helped women in underserved communities— women who have been forgotten or women who simply just need Hope! Most of her energy has focused on supporting women who need additional services to help aid in their recovery. KRISTY BLASEY 100 WOMEN WHO GIVE A HOOT | BIRTHDAYPAK Kristy Blasey is the co-founder of Women Who Give a Hoot. Launched in 2016, “Hoot” as it’s lovingly called by its members, was born out of the desire to increase the impact of local charity donations through collective giving. For one hour each quarter, members meet and hear from three local non-profits. At the end of the meeting, members vote on which non-profit should receive the collective donation. The non-profit with the most votes receives $100 from each member...talk about IMPACT! Hoot has raised more than $250,000 for the local non-profit community and is more than 200 members strong – perfect for women with a big heart, but little time. When not planning and handling logistics for Hoot meetings, Kristy is dishing up birthday surprises for the women of the Triangle with her business BirthdayPak. BirthdayPak celebrates women’s birthdays with gift cards to local restaurants, spas, boutiques, and more. Look for BirthdayPak in the mail on your next birthday! PHOTO CREDIT: ROSE TRAIL IMAGES

No stranger to Church of the Ascension, Belleair resident Molly joined the staff nearly 10 years ago as the social media minister. While her primary responsibilities include delivering key church information via social media, another ministry on campus was calling her name. Many of the area’s homeless and food-insecure individuals tend to congregate by the church. Molly began to notice those who gathered on the benches near the back parking lot and got to know the regulars. Somewhere along the way, Molly came across the concept of The Little Free Pantry (littlefreepantry.org) and thought it was just what the community needed. With the support of 31 volunteers, the pantry is filled daily. Ready-toeat food and drinks are the most popular. Volunteers are invited to think creatively, and the pantry is often decorated for a holiday or a particular theme just to bring cheer to those who are hungry. “Don’t just count your blessings. Be the blessing other people count on.” Anonymous
