Perrys Miss Daisy Suh 8M is our very first Suh heifer calf, it was difficult to let her go. Her dam had a full sister that we sold in the first Maines on the Plains Sale to Hansen/Byman. 8M has some great sires in her pedigree, none better then BPF Drive on Driver, he has added some strength and power to our cow herd. We also have a 5 year old Drive on Driver herdsire. It appears that Suh has definitely complimented this genetic package, this calf is super correct, growthy, and should be quite competitive as a yearling.

Our first ever offering for sale comes from the “where are they now” file. We purchased her dam, Bymans Miss Lexi, from the legendary Byman ranch at The World Maine Sale in 2021. Spellbound’s Domino will offer the same great traits as her dam. Big footed, square hipped, and flawless udder. All in a PB package. She is going to be that cow you know will consistently produce for you year after year. Plus, who doesn’t love a baldy.

We purchased Code Black “Beast” from Willow Springs Cattle Co. in the 2018 National Western Stock Show Bright Lights sale. The following day he was crowned Jr. Champion. He was truly unique in that year’s group of Maine bulls. We felt he was the perfect blend of look and power. We used Beast for 2 years before we lost him to injury. His offspring exhibit the punch and power we had hoped for. Code Black Daughters are sound, good milking, powerful momma cows. His sons are breeding true and raising top quality offspring. Our high selling Beast son from the Associates Bull Sale will be standing in the G2 stall in the Maine barn at Agribition.
Having made trips to the National Western Stock Show in 2007 and 2008, I gained a great appreciation for the Irish Whiskey females. They weren’t the biggest boned, sharpest fronted, or going to blow you away with size, but they were by far the deepest ribbed most complete females in the breed. We began looking for an Irish Whiskey female at the time and when the picture of the female arrived along with a picture of her brother we quickly changed our course of action. We purchased Fightin’ Irish in the fall of 2008 from Willers Mitten Brand in Nebraska. He walked our pastures for 7 years. In those 7 years we built a beautiful herd of females off him while marketing sons to both purebred and commercial operations. Sons and daughters went on to be shown successfully at all levels as well as becoming AI sires and donor cows. Commercial breeders kept the daughters back as replacements as they grew to be beautiful low maintenance easy fleshing cows. Every year we get asked if we would be willing to part with a few straws so here they are.
