Pier 53 Marine, Port Clinton Where fun and adventure begin.

eading out of peaceful, quaint West Harbor off Catawba Island in Port Clinton, Ohio, easy access to the Erie islands, southern Michigan and the Toledo and Cleveland metro areas awaits. It’s hard to imagine the now full-service 115-slip Pier 53 Marine situated in the harbor began as only a small brokerage and service facility back in 2009. Today, in addition to its 115 slips, transient dockage and newly renovated marina facilities, Pier 53 offers a full service department, a sales showroom offering both brokerage and new inventory consisting of Monterey, Blackfin, Fountain and Cobia boats, and multiple storage facilities. “Our goal was and still is to provide a hassle-free, one-stop boating experience with a focus on customer service and satisfaction. We strive to create customers and friends for life!” says Tustyn Wiedbrauk, sales and marketing at Pier 53 Marine.

And the focus on customer service is truly alive and well at Pier 53. A Mercury and Yamaha certified maintenance dealer, they were recently presented with Mercury’s 2021 Customer Service Index award. “Ultimately, what sets our marina apart is our dockers. We aren’t just a marina but more so a family! Everyone knows everyone and looks out for one another’s vessels,” explains Wiedbrauk. Since 2018 Pier 53 has been working on renovations to the marina, adding three new floating piers with water and electricity, with a fourth planned for later this year. With additional space, the marina is currently welcoming new dockers, and offers a variety of amenities including Wi-Fi and shower facilities.
