Texas Ranches For Sale

Where do you live? I am a Comfort, Texas native. I graduated from Comfort High School and came back to the area after graduating from Tarleton State University in 2012. Where do you work? Texas Ranches for Sale has the office in Comfort, but I tend to focus on the Texas Hill Country as a whole. What drew you to ranch and recreational real estate? Growing up, I always heard the old timers say this land will get into your blood. I guess it is true, because there is something special about walking these beautiful properties with my clients. Also, having been raised in a rodeo family, I get excited when I have the opportunity to work a place that has any type of horse facilities. What makes the corner of the world where you work special? There is nothing quite like the Texas Hill Country. It has been called one of the most gorgeous places on earth, but more than that, the people here still present southern charm and always offer a warm welcome. What are the three most important tools in a ranch broker’s kit? Knowledge of the market, integrity from start to finish on every deal and honesty with clients If you could call anywhere on the planet home, where would it be? Why? Honestly, there is nowhere I would rather live than right where I am now. The land is breathtaking, the people are friendly, and the weather doesn’t get too cold here! What’s the most profound lesson you’ve learned from the land or its people? The land needs to be protected. It is one of our most valuable resources, and they aren’t making any more of it. Listener or talker? Definitely a listener. I have always been curious about what others have to say regarding almost any subject. If you had one extra hour of time per day, how would you use it? I would be horseback. I still love to compete, but on a day-to-day basis, riding is my place to step back and unwind. Sometimes, even that feels rushed because there is always so much that needs to be done. Would you rather be without Internet for a week or your phone? If it were possible, I would get rid of both. I am much more of a face to face, sit down and talk kind of person, both in a personal and business sense. If you could give one sentence advice about how to live life, what would that be? Always be yourself, because if you work with who you truly are, your gifts and talents will put you right where you need to be. Describe your perfect work day. Pretty weather and finding/ showing clients a horse property that has exactly what they are looking for.

Do your best and let God handle the rest.” 42

LEGENDARY LIVING

What is your most memorable deal to date? An older couple in my church asked me to list their place, as they were ready to move closer to family. During the process of selling their property, we got to know each other very well and grew to be close friends. They still treat me as a daughter and call me each time they are in the area so we can meet for lunch. To this day, they are the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
