Interviewing Carlotta De Zorzi (Secretary General FOSCAMUN 2017)
Interviewer A first impression of this experience. Secretary General It was absolutely amazing. Everything went as we predicted, even better than we expected. . I’m entusiasthic of each single resolution and I deeply hope that this experience will be conserved in the delegates’ heart. I. How were the interactions beween local and foreign students in your opinion? S.G. They were beatiful. There were foreign delegations that had more possibilities to create relations with local students because of their arrival date; but I was pleased to note how at the Grand Gala the students were not divided into categories and to see local students and foreign students dancing together. I. Have you got any news introduced during this FOSCAMUN that in your opinion should be kept in an eventually future edition in your opinion? S.G. Obviously the Committee in French. I. What did you find particularly difficult during the organisation? S.G. Surly the long time of preparation that we had. It was a good, on a hand, because we had the occasion to control each particoular of the event. But on the other our finally result seemed to be very far, and it was a littlebit frustrating. I Are there delagations which particularly caught your attention? S.G. Obviously the UNESCO, the committee in French, which was as i said previously the most important news of this FOSCAMUN. But each committee did the best job possible and I’m satisfied of each Resolution Paper that was presented I. Thank you very much. S.G. Thank you!

foscamun as gym for the world I'm known to be in this school only since this year. I was interested in this MUN since the very beginning of it, partly because I didn't know what was about. Slowly and calmly (because I didn't want to look like an idiot), I understood the purpose of this project. Well, it is probable that I got it completely wrong, but I'm sure you won't judge me, and that you will take this article as it is, an opinion. I read on the placards :" Foscarini will stage the World United Nations". 'Stage' is a word used basically in the drama context. Some may object this use of the word, because the MUN is not a play or a game, is a real organization that deals with real problems in the real world... Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Well, it's your opinion, and I accept it. But I think that the word 'stage'is indeed well used. Yes,you heard that correctly. The drama context is perfect, not because of its primary meaning, but for its insight on the human condition. I shall explain myself. I have always loved the world of theatre, because it explains flaws and qualities of our race. Every , every play examines at least one of our many problems, psychological or social. Every play has a second meaning, that helps us to think and reflect about ourselves and, therefore, about the others. Indeed, this is not exactly a play. We are not in a theatre, and the delegates, the chairs and the people of interest are not playing in a stage (meaning the set of boards). But still, we are all acting, as the whole humanity acts every day for everything, from trying to avoid the daily lessons and pretend to be ill; to the simplest social relations. Our Foscamun is then a great play. We discuss about the problems of our society, and how to achieve a solution. But the most important thing is that these opinions are not mere words. It's difficult that the solutions obtained will affect the real world in a short time; however , our minds are projected to the future, and we (hopefully) are going to grow up with the responsibility of taking care of our blue-marble world.

Interviewing Marco Celeghin (Head of Public Relations)
Interviewer Why did you decide to take part in this Foscamun 2017 as Head of Public Relations? Head of Public Relations I took part both in Foscamun 2015, as Usher; and in Foscamun 2016 as Technician. Public Relations are a sector that has always caught my attention; during my experience I got an impression of this assignment and found it really fascinating. My expectations are totally satisfied. I.What do you think of the committees’ work? H.P.R. I have not much time to attend the sessions . For the little I attended to, I found the skills of the delegates really impressive. I.We are now at the end of the Foscamun 2017. What are this year edition’s news that you would like to keep in an eventually Foscamun 2018? H.P.R. I am particularly impressed by the commissión, the UNESCO committee in French. It was very difficult to organise such a huge labour , but the efforts were totally repaid. I Thank you. H.P.R. WHO: A SHORT REVIEW According to what the moderator Mariaelena Begheldo and the vice president Antonio Perri said, the delegates of the committiee WHO are well prepared and they participate a lot during the sessions. During the first sessions they discussed on the topic A (international trafficking of human organs) and, after several simple caucus and moderated caucus, they finally found a solution and voted for it. The resolution paper that came out is really pertinent to the issues that have been previously discussed. Now, we're waiting for the resolution paper of Topic B, until that moment, I encourage everybody who's reading this article to visit this well prepared and well organized commission. Carlotta Medić
