TALK TO US
We’re thinking about
memories.
For my family, summer wouldn’t be summer without a trip to Cape Cod. To hear what’s on other families’ must-do lists, see page 9.
Why? Partly because it’s August, and that’s when the staff here tries to pack in those last sandy, sunny, s’moresy experiences with our families before school starts. (Can you blame us? Last winter was a doozy here in New England!) But it’s also because our creative team has been making changes to FamilyFun that will help you wring even more happy moments and unforgettable memories from each issue. vacation ideas (page 72), and yummy recipes we’re sure will go into your dinner rotation (page 30). You’ll also find a whole new section, called Share (page 9), where you can do just that: send in your best tips, solutions, and photos and see what other families are up to. And then there’s my personal favorite, Big Fun, a new department that is so epic, so cool, that … well, you’ll just have to turn to page 6 and see! We’d love to hear what you think of the new format: please drop us a line (page 4). And then go soak up all that August has to offer. Ann Hallock EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
