Degree Apprenticeship

Impact on the business landscape and drive long-term organisational success as a chartered manager. Throughout this apprenticeship, you will monitor, motivate and modify business environments as a key driver of business growth, transforming from middle management to a powerful leader.

Full time: 4 years Location: University Centre Leeds

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Selection criteria depends on individual employers. Most candidates will have A levels (or equivalent) or existing relevant qualifications including English, maths and ICT at Level 2. This apprenticeship will be completed while studying either the Business and Management FD and BA (Hons), or the Leadership and Management FD and BA (Hons). This apprenticeship prepares you for a multifunctional managerial career, where you will take responsibility for people, projects, operations and services to deliver organisational success. You will refine your knowledge, transcending from a manager to a trailblazing innovator. The skills developed on this course will enhance multiple elements of your management and leadership style, as you demonstrate your knowledge of decision-making, building teams, maintaining communication, motivating others and fostering inclusive working cultures. By the end of this apprenticeship your areas of expertise will include: • Setting directions and achieving results • Creating and maintaining clear communication channels • Developing skills • Project management • Fostering equal, diverse and ethical cultures • Developing stakeholder relationships • Innovation • Financial management • Leading change

Progression will depend on your individual circumstances. If you are completing the apprenticeship alongside a bachelor’s degree, you may continue on to a Level 7 qualification.
