Apply via UCAS using institution code L21. As you progress through our Acting Foundation Degree programme, you will train to a high level of technical ability. You will study multiple aspects of acting, including Shakespearean theatre, naturalism, postmodernism, circus and clowning. You will also explore contemporary acting such as virtual reality (VR), computer generated imagery (CGI), television and radio speaking. Alongside improving your core disciplines of voice, movement and acting, you will improve your creative and transferable skills, becoming an independent thinker and motivated and reflective artist. You will become physically and vocally flexible, ready to emerge into the industry. Our programme is based in the heart of the Cultural Quarter in Leeds, so you will be surrounded by local practitioners at organisations such as Leeds Playhouse, Northern Ballet, Phoenix Dance, Red Ladder, BBC and Munro House Arts Centre.
