You will compose non-linear music and synchronise sound to the moving image through the use of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and Digital Audio Editors (DAEs). You will also learn how to edit midi files, tweak sound patterns and layer sounds to convey emotion and strike a chord with the audience, whether that is on apps, moving images or computer games. There’s a particular focus on personal development, so you will identify areas of improvement and an area of interest you would like to explore further in line with your career aspirations. You will develop your creative vision by learning how to use cameras and studio lighting, and exploring a range of photographic disciplines, from documentary, fashion and portraiture to fine art and commercial. We emphasise work-related learning, so you will experience guest lectures from well-known industry figures such as Tom Martin, Ian Beesley and Murat Özkasim.
