You will explore multiple aspects of professional and photographic practice, and build a professional network with a view to move directly into the industry. We’ll encourage you to undertake new experiences, develop your own professional practice, and discover cultural and employment opportunities. In fact, previous students have visited London, Paris, Budapest, Berlin and New York as part of their degree. You can also draw inspiration from local artists in Leeds’ Cultural Quarter. As part of your final photographic project, your work will be exhibited externally to introduce you to the local art scene. You will also have the chance to meet with guest speakers such as Pippa Oldfield, Tessa Bunney, Danny North and Juno Calypso, further inspiring a passionate career in photography.
