You will explore game trends, history and popular culture, and will analyse design and gameplay to gain a deeper understanding of all aspects of development. The course allows you to work on a variety of projects, developing multiple design skills and underpinning your creations with practical 3D, 2D and programming knowledge. You will create highquality assets and environments, and compose scripts on game engines like Unity and Unreal to deliver real, playable games. Industry standards are at the core of this programme, which is why we promote the use of agile workflows and industry events such as game jams and societies. By gaining an understanding of multiple disciplines, you will become a successful indie games developer able to produce games from scratch.
