It combines academic study with practical application to help you identify care challenges and how to overcome them. You will study emerging legislation, exploring the impact it has upon the sector, and shape your learning through research and a dissertation on a topic of your choice. We place a heavy emphasis on employability, so full-time students will attend a work placement of 10 to 12 hours a week alongside studies, ensuring the best chance of success within the health and care sector.
