Optional modules help you shape your studies around your career aspirations, while the choice of analytical science or diagnostic techniques modules tailor your learning. You will study advanced pharmacology and toxicology, data analysis, bioinformatics and cellular pathology, and learn how to apply biomedical techniques within the laboratory. You will also prepare your own investigation-led research projects to sharpen your research and academic skills, before producing a scientific dissertation based on your personal area of interest.
