ENTRY REQUIREMENTS You should have a BSc (Hons) degree at a 2:2 along with GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Other relevant experience may be considered as an alternative.

Develop a complex understanding of the disease in organs, tissues and cells as you explore cellular pathology. You will also learn how to apply biomedical techniques in the laboratory, building academic research skills essential to research scientist roles.

You will study bioinformatics and data analysis, and have the opportunity to shape your studies by choosing optional modules such as advanced analytical science and diagnostic techniques. You will also prepare for your own investigation-led research dissertation. By the end of this apprenticeship your areas of expertise will include: • Applied biomedical techniques • Cellular pathology • Bioinformatics • Data analysis • Researching for scientific purposes • Diagnostic techniques or analytical science
