Learning Centres (SILCS) Building on your existing knowledge of care and education, you will identify external and social environmental factors, assessing how they can influence development and education. Alongside work experience, you will strengthen your understanding of care and education by studying purposeful play, contemporary disclosure and family in a contemporary context. You will also identify a personal area of interest to explore within your dissertation. There is a strong focus on employability, so you will undertake an integrated work placement in a relevant childcare or education setting, gaining the experience required for progression.
