Editor’s Message Hey Monsters! I hope you’re all doing well! I’m sad to announce that this will be the last newsletter that I will be creating for you all (insert sobbing gif). Nonetheless, I will still try my best to remain active within the club and to maintain close bonds with you all! You have all made my first year as a key club member incredible; from contributing to the well-being of the community, from opening your horizons to meeting new people, or simply from being a familiar face at weekly meetings, you have all played an important role in making my first year and term as a member and officer memorable. For that, I thank you. I hope that I’ve helped to make your experience as a part of Key Club as unforgettable as you’ve made mine. I hope to see all your faces at service events, social events, meetings, and more! --In monstrous service and friendship, Jule Dao Sheldon Key Club Key Club Bulletin Editor 2015-2016

UNICEF Tap Project The UNICEF Tap Project is a nationwide campaign that provides clean water and adequate sanitation to children all over the world. The project challenges you to see how long you can go without something far less vital than clean water—your cell phone. For every 5 minutes you go without touching your phone, a child is provided with a day of clean water! Eager to participate? Use your phone to go here!

Key Club fun fact

The first Key Club meeting was held at Sacramento High School in May 1925!

Thomas Le– Tech Editor Throughout my year as a key-clubber, I have seen may people grow as leaders and helpers in support of the community. From pick up garbage around our school campus to helping the ones in need at the Kiwanis Family house, they have learned to help and serve as great citizens in their community. The things I am most grateful for are my peers all surrounding me. As for my fellow key-clubbers, they have pushed me throughout the terms to succeed and be myself. I have developed leadership roles and also self confidence in myself to strive for what I believe in. Overall, my experience with the members have been very beneficial and unbelievable throughout my current term.

Theresa Nguyen– Publicity I am grateful for their smile. I see it early in the morning at volunteering events till late at night during our socials. A smile could go for miles and Sheldon Key Clubbers, we've just got first place in a marathon. I am grateful for your efforts and commitment in not only smiling, but making others, including me, smile.

Justina Voong– Treasurer

Hello Members! The term is sadly winding down to an end and I've been so grateful to be able to serve you all as treasurer for the term. I've been able to watch every one of you grow as leaders and see how Key Club has impacted you in your own way, and that is something that motivates me to continue to not only serve you guys, but my home, school, and community. I'm so honored to have been able to get to know some of you guys, and for those who I haven't, its never too late to come by and say hi! I'm so grateful for all the new memories we've made together and I hope it continues into the last year of my Key Club journey. Although bittersweet, reflecting upon this past year, Sheldon Key Club has made many steps forward, that I am so proud of to be part of. I hope to continue this and leave behind a legacy just like many of you will.

ey Club is represented by an inverted triangle with the members at the ery top. Members are the most important part of Key Club and this year is a eat example of why this is so. Because of our dedicated members we were ble to achieve amazing feats, like raising $900 for UNICEF or almost getting 000 hours of service in one single month! These accomplishments truly mazes me and makes me grateful for having such dedicated and selfless inviduals in our club. I hope that everyone will continue to work hard during ese last few months of the term, and let's try to make the retiring officers alous by making the next term even better!!

Jule Dao- Bulletin Editor

embers are on the top of he inverted triangle that epresents Key Club. This is ecause they are the most rucial aspect. They are the nes that work to provide ervice, raise money, and elp make the community a etter place. Because of hem, $181,000 was raised or PTP by the district. Beause of them, 23,096 hours ere raised by the division. ecause you you, the community is now a better place.

Zyruss Edjan– Member Recognition This term was truly a term to remember. Not only was it filled with many memorable experiences, but it also allowed me to meet and become close with many people that I wouldn’t have even talked to anywhere else. Both the officers and the members inspired me and changed me to a totally different person, and for that, I am indebted to them. Although my term is ending, I cannot wait for the next term because I am thrilled to see which members will step up to the plate and join the current board as well as what they come up next. I hope you all had as fun of a year as I did, and I can’t wait to see you all next term.
