HELLO AND WELCOME Welcome to our Winter 2020 programme. Start the year on a high when you join us for one of this season’s exciting creative and cultural events. It’s the 10th anniversary of the LS6 Beer Festival and we’re celebrating with three main sessions on 20 and 21 March, plus a pub quiz night, a Sup-Up Sunday and our Faces of the Festival photography exhibition. Hope you can join us! If making time for creativity is on your list for 2020, book on to one of our workshops. We’ll be arm-knitting chunky throws in February and discovering the art of modern calligraphy in March. Prefer to curate rather than create? Come to Leeds Vintage Furniture Flea to find high-quality retro homewares. Our beautiful building will be full of music and dancing this season. Swing and sway your way into January with our traditional Burns Night Ceilidh (we’re celebrating a little early on the 24th). For International Women’s Day, we’re welcoming South Asian Arts-uk to Left Bank to celebrate women in traditional Indian classical music. We’ll be boogieing to hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s at Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet and we’ve got a special Valentine’s version of Beer & Sing coming up. If you want to celebrate your mates as well as your significant other, bring them along to our Galentine's Day screening of Mean Girls, complete with themed cocktails and plenty of glitter!
Please do book tickets in advance where possible, as this not only helps us with our planning but also gives you the advance ticket price. Advance tickets are subject to a booking fee but are still cheaper than on the door. For those of you who don’t know us yet, we’re a multidisciplinary arts venue set in an amazing Grade II* listed former church building in LS6. We’re an organisation with heart and a down-to-earth approach, connecting people to each other, to art, and to new experiences. Our stunning building is available to hire and makes the most impressive setting for weddings, celebrations and events. All money raised from our events supports the development of Left Bank Leeds Charitable Trust (charity no. 1146734). If you would like to follow us on our journey please join us on social media. /leftbankleeds
