CONTINUED EXCITEMENT Enthusiasm surpasses expectations The last few months at Legacy West have been truly exceptional. Our Grand Opening celebration, which took place on June 2nd through the 4th, was an unbelievable success, bringing out thousands to get their first look at our incredible development. The enthusiasm and excitement for Legacy West has been unprecedented. Every major media outlet in DFW covered our weekend festivities, creating a buzz that was felt all over North Texas…and this is only the beginning. With more than a dozen new stores and restaurants opening this fall, including Barnes & Noble Kitchen, Fashion Optical, Filson, Haywire, J.Crew, Legacy Hall, Levi’s, MAC Cosmetics, Madewell, Sephora, Starbucks Reserve, Sugarfina, Taverna, and Toulouse, Legacy West will continue to be the most visited new destination in this area. Many of our stores and restaurants are already exceeding sales expectations, breaking corporate records nationally and even internationally. This trend will only continue as we work together to bring top customers to our development. The key to ongoing success will be the constant communication and collaboration between our management team and merchants. That relationship is vital and one we take very seriously. Through our targeted marketing and public relations efforts—as well as our strong community relationships—we want to do all we can to help grow and enhance your business. Our hope is that you take advantage of the countless opportunities detailed in this newsletter, such as social media postings, website mentions, blog stories, and much more. Join J.Crew all day as they celebrate their Grand Opening. Come early to check out the newest styles, enjoy some snacks, and make a lasting impression at their photo booth from 1-4p. Then, from 6-8p, toast cocktails and take advantage of special savings, including 20% off purchases of $125 or more.

Halloween starts early when Legacy Hall hosts a block party to celebrate the opening of the first phase of the muchanticipated food hall. More than a dozen food stalls and Unlawful Assembly Brewing Company will welcome guests.

MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES Monthly e-Newsletter and Dedicated e-Blasts

A monthly e-Newsletter will be emailed the first of every month to our subscriber base of 9,000+. Content should be submitted to gabriel@legacywest.com no later than the 20th of each month for consideration. Examples of content include new menu items, sales, promotions, events, etc. Images (270 x 183) should be submitted along with content. E-blasts will be sent out on a weekly basis. Content needs to be scheduled at least one month in advance and is subject to availability. Images (600px wide and 400 px height) should be submitted along with content containing a proposed email subject line and any additional copy.

Website

Legacy West can promote tenant sales, products/items, promotions, new menu items, in-store events, etc. on our website (www.legacywest. com). Please submit all content ideas at least one month in advance for consideration to gabriel@legacywest.com. Image spec sizes vary regarding placement. Gabriel will inform you on what sizes he needs. Additional requirements include start and end dates for any sales, promotions, events, etc. as well as suggested copy. For inclusion on the Legacy West blog, please contact Gabriel with your content ideas.

Social Media Platforms

FABLETICS PRESENTS DEMI LOVATO To celebrate the relaunch of the Demi Lovato for Fabletics collection, Fabletics at Legacy West will host a special appearance by Lovato herself Saturday, September 9. Anyone who spends $50 or more from the Demi Lovato for Fabletics Collection will be able to participate in an autograph signing by Lovato. The Fall collection is comprised of a combination of performances and lifestyle pieces with new design elements such as contouring waist straps, paint splatter camo, and vibrant heather prints.

The event lasts from 1-3pm. Check-in starts at 11:30am.

Television/PR Opportunities

Legacy West regularly schedules fashion and cooking segments on local Dallas TV stations (FOX4, NBC5, ABC8, CBS11, and CW33). Contact victoria@legacywest.com to be included in these opportunities and to submit any proposed segment ideas. Models may be provided when hosted by a Legacy West spokesperson. For cooking segments, please provide information about your chef including a bio and segment ideas.

Digital Billboard Advertising

Legacy West has a large format digital display (18’3” x 27’ x 4”) facing SE at the corner of Legacy Drive and the Dallas North Tollway. Digital advertising opportunities are for Legacy West tenants only and are offered on a limited basis. Images must be static per Texas State Law. CORPORATE UPDATES There’s a reason Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere calls us, “The Center of the Universe.” In July Toyota celebrated its Grand Opening after gradually moving in employees by the hundreds each week. A ceremony included remarks from Governor Greg Abbott, tours of the campus, and a performance by aerial dancers scaling the glass walls of the new headquarters. Boeing also moved into its Legacy West offices as it opened the headquarters of the company’s newly formed global services division. Liberty Mutual and J.P. Morgan Chase continue to change Plano’s landscape and skyline as the companies put the final touches on their regional headquarters. Also reaching for the sky are both the LVL 29 apartment tower (set to become the tallest building in Plano) and luxury condominium project Windrose Tower, which just broke ground in August.


OPENING THIS FALL BARNES & NOBLE KITCHEN

This restaurant embodies the rich Beer, wine… and books? The new Barnes & Noble concept store opening at Legacy West will be the first in the southwest to offer not just the latest new novels, but a restaurant with an expanded menu including beer and wine. As the nation’s largest retail bookseller, Barnes & Noble operates 633 bookstores across all 50 states. The 9,000 square foot Legacy West new concept store will be a place to relax, discover new books, listen to an author speak, and have a glass of wine.

FASHION OPTICAL

Eye Wear from the world over and low, low prices. Known for beautiful eyewear from the fashion capitals of Paris, Milan, London, Geneva, and Berlin among many others all at affordable prices. M∙A∙C

Make-up Art Cosmetics is a leading brand of professional cosmetics, created in Toronto, Canada in 1984 and part of the Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. The company’s popularity has grown through wordof-mouth endorsement from makeup artists, celebrities, models, photographers, and journalists around the world. M•A•C is sold in over 100 countries worldwide.

MADEWELL

Introduced in 2006, Madewell is a modern women’s denim brand with workwear roots. Denim is at the core of everything Madewell does: from jeans that fit perfectly to the things—tees, ankle boots, leather jackets—that women want to wear with them. Effortless, cool, artful, unexpected—these are some of the words we return to again and again when describing the brand. The products are sold primarily at Madewell stores and online.

SEPHORA

Beauty Together at Sephora. The first beauty retailer to employ the unique open-sell philosophy, Sephora allows you to shop a myriad of brands and encourages you to try, test, and play with everything from lip glosses to blushes, skincare to fragrance. Meet at the Beauty Studio for a variety of beauty services like complimentary classes, custom makeovers, expert advice, and more!

STARBUCKS RESERVE

Only the second location like it in Texas and among only a few across the country, Starbucks Reserve offers a craft coffee experience. The rare, limited, small-batch roasting of amazing coffees that come from small lots and farms are only available for a limited time. This space is not so different from your neighborhood Starbucks. It’s a place where people from all over come together for conversation and great coffee.

SUGARFINA

Sugarfina is a chic, always instagram-ready boutique filled with delicious gourmet sweets founded by sweethearts Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick. Signature sweets include champagne bears, sugar lips, and peach bellinis that are just as beautiful to look at as they are to taste. Recently, Sugarfina captured headlines with their line of George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila infused candies and with their rosé infused gummy bears, which generated an 18,000 person waitlist. The first Sugarfina store opened November 2013 in Beverly Hills and now includes 24 boutiques and 15 Nordstrom shop-in-shops in major North American cities.

TAVERNA

Taverna is a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant that offers a truly Italian experience without having to leave Texas. TOULOUSE CAFÉ AND BAR

Founder Alberto Lombardi introduced Toulouse with the goal of creating a French bistro setting where customers feel at home with friends and family. Much like a scene out of Paris, Toulouse creates a lively setting filled with the continuous bustle of clinking wine glasses, hot plates of food, and good moods accompanied by chatter and laughter.


LEGACY WEST MASTER PLAN UPDATES With the southern end of our development already thriving, the northern side is poised to keep the momentum going. The five acres just west of the soon-to-open Legacy Hall will be home to a 10-story boutique hotel. The area will also feature 163 multi-family residential units, 13,000 square feet of retail space, and 21,000 square feet of Class A office space.

RENAISSANCE HOTEL OPENS Making one of the most dramatic changes to the Plano skyline, the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel opened in July. The Sam Moon Group’s 15-story tower features 304 rooms including a 2300-squarefoot presidential suite and the largest hotel ballroom in Plano. The Renaissance meets a critical need for corporate visitors on business trips. Guests will enjoy the hotel’s mix of Asian and Western-themed décor as well as immediate access to all of Legacy West’s shopping and dining opportunities.

Officers with the Plano Police Department have opened their new storefront office located at 7401 Windrose Ave. D120, which is just behind Earls Kitchen + Bar. Feel free to call them at 972.424.5678 or 911 if it is a true emergency. The Neighborhood Police Officers will utilize foot patrol, bicycles, Segways, and police cars to patrol the area.
