With that in mind, we have put together a stunning hiking weekend package, that is fully guided with minibus transport that ensures you can experience the full range of hiking adventures during your packed weekend.

After an early-morning pick-up, your adventure will begin with a 30-minute transfer to the base of the hiking trail, including driving the world´s longest undersea road tunnel. After a short briefing, you’ll embark on your journey to Preikestolen. After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking, you’ll reach the Preikestolen plateau just before sunrise. After finding yourself a comfortable place to relax, you’ll watch as the first beams of sunlight climb over the horizon and illuminate the Lysefjord’s steep mountain walls.
If conditions permit, on the way back down the trail, your guide will follow an alternate route to Preikestolen Mountain Lodge, which will take about 2-2.5 hours. Because it’s not found on any maps, the alternative trail avoids the crowds that typically ascend the mountain during the early afternoon, and therefore offers guests a more secluded experience. Back at the trailhead/Preikestolen Mountain Lodge, you’ll enjoy freshly-baked bread and a welldeserved (and delicious!) bowl of homemade soup before being transported back to Stavanger.
After such an early start, guests can either relax back at the hotel or spend the hours before dinner to go exploring the city by themselves.
Dinner will be taken at the Firelake, a

Guests will return back to their hotel, freshen up and then be treated to dinner at Ostehuset, one of the best café style restaurants in Stavanger.

After the lunch break, your guide will lead you back down to the Eagle’s Nest, which takes approximately 2 hours. You’ll then begin your 3-hour journey back to Stavanger. The guide will navigate over a mountain pass through the municipality of Sirdal and onward to the valley of Byrkjedal and the Byrkjedalstunet, which has been described as a miniature version of Norway. The site includes a charming country hotel, a restaurant that serves traditional Norwegian cuisine, and a small-scale candle factory that also serves as an outlet for local artisans.
