This special weekend break package gives guests the opportunity to stay in Stavanger and ski in Sauda, where guests sail out on Saturdays and Sundays for a weekend on the best slopes in western Norway.
Sauda has five runs, including a sixkilometre trail, plus a 5,200-skier per hour lift capacity, a 200-meter magic carpet, children’s hill, snowboard park, groomed Nordic trails, ski rentals, instructors, ski shop and a cafe. After skiing its back to après-ski at Stavanger’s Beverly Hills Fun Pub, where the ski racks are waiting, the mood is rising and the hits keep coming. You can also extend your holiday by heading out to Sirdal, another great ski resort.

DAY 1
Arrive Stavanger on Friday
On arrival at Stavanger Airport Sola, guests will be greeted and transferred on the short journey to the downtown Scandic Stavanger Park Hotel, one of Stavanger’s nicest hotels. Following check in, guests are invited to meet and greet drinks where your tour guide will give a short presentation of your tour. Guests can then enjoy free time ahead of dinner in one of the city’s great restaurants.
DAY 2
Ski Sauda
This package covers one day of skiing in Sauda where following breakfast, guests will head to Stavanger’s Strandkaien wharf, and embark on the scenic two hour cruise north through Stavanger’s archipelago on the Rødne Fjord Cruise. Your ski cruise departs at 8 am and arrives at the Ropeid harbour terminal, where there is a waiting bus, which transfers guests to the Sauda Ski Centre, where you arrive at 10 am. Following a full day of skiing, guests will depart Sauda at 4pm and arrive back at Stavanger at 6:30 pm, disembark and walk straight into Stavanger’s Beverly Hills Fun Pub for après-ski drinks.

Three Restaurants in Three Hours
Saturday night will see guests eat at three of Stavanger’s finest restaurants, Fish & Cow, Nick & Jonnies and Renaa Matbaren. During your 3-hour gourmet journey you will be served two superb signature dishes with exciting seasonal variations at each of the restaurants. Drinks are adapted to the dining experience you order along the way.
DAY 3
Ski Sirdal
Following breakfast, guests will transfer to Sirdal for a days skiing. The journey takes 1.5 hours by bus.Those guests who are booked on the week vacation will check out of the hotel and check into Sirdal Ski Resort Apartments. Those guests who are on the weekend vacation will head back to Stavanger following a days skiing in Sirdal.
Sirdal is a traditional ski resort located in the south west of Norway. With four mountains featuring a total of 15 lifts/T-bars and 45 ski runs, Sirdal is among the biggest and most easily accessible snow-sport regions of Fjord Norway.
And the best thing is that there is something for all snow-sport enthusiasts, whether you are a carver, freerider, new-school skier, ski-tourer, night-skier, snowboarder or cross-country enthusiast.

DAY 4
Departure
Following breakfast guests will transfer back to Stavanger Airport Sola on Monday. Week vacation guests will depart on the Saturday.
