Welcome to the beautiful home of LCCFPA.

While you are in our house, we ask that you are a courteous neighbor to those around you.

· Time your exits and re-entry to the seating area to occur only at intermission or breaks between songs. This is a courtesy to other guests around you who will appreciate you keeping these disruptions to a minimum.

· Save texting until after the show. The light from phones is distracting to others throughout the theatre. Please keep them turned off.

· Snacks and drinks from concessions are welcome in the seating area, but as a courtesy to those around you, eat and drink as quietly as possible. Know that odors and noisy wrappers can disturb others.

· Once the show starts, let the stage be the center of attention. We ask that you turn off all cell phones and limit conversation. If children are attending this performance with you, exit the theatre immediately if they become restless or talkative.

· Taking videos or pictures is strictly prohibited. Patrons seen taking pictures or videos will be asked to put their device away.

We are excited to have you with us and hope that, while being a courteous neighbor, you enjoy the show.

WELCOME

From the President of Lenoir Community College

Dr. Rusty Hunt

Dear Patrons of the Arts,

Welcome to Lenoir Community College and to this delightful production of Hello, Dolly! This classic musical, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart, has captured hearts for decades, and we are thrilled that you are here to share in the magic of this production.

It takes a village to bring such an iconic show to life, and your attendance not only supports our fine arts programs but also helps our students through the LCC Foundation’s scholarship program. Thank you for assisting our students in bringing their educational dreams to life. We have many opportunities throughout the year where you can be involved, and our community is stronger because of your generosity.

Thank you to our talented faculty and staff and the community actors and actresses who have worked tirelessly to bring Hello, Dolly! to the stage. Their dedication and talent have provided us with a charming and memorable evening that reminds us of the timeless power of theater.

Again, welcome to Lenoir Community College. I hope to see you throughout the year as your support is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

President, Lenoir Community College

WELCOME

From the Executive Director of the LCC Foundation

Dear

valued donors and community members,

We are honored and privileged to have been a small part of the exceptional production of Hello, Dolly!. Thanks to the generous contributions of individuals like you, we can offer cultural opportunities to students and enhance the Lenoir Community College Foundation Scholarship Program. We firmly believe that the Arts are vital to the quality of life in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties, and we could not have achieved this without your unwavering support.

We appreciate your efforts to increase scholarship funds for our students, as many individuals in our area are not able to afford a college education. Scholarships give students the opportunity to gain an education that shapes their critical thinking proficiencies, creativity, interpersonal skills, sense of social responsibility, and earning potential. Your continued support has made all the difference in enabling us to carry forward this mission, and for that, we extend our deepest gratitude.

If you would like to help a student gain an education or support the Fine Arts Department, please contact us at 252-233-6812. With the exceptional talent at Lenoir Community College and in our community, along with your invaluable support, we are confident in our ability to continue providing access to educational opportunities and enriching the cultural experience for everyone in our communities.

Again, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to our donors and community members for the dedication and encouragement they have shown us. Please enjoy the show and rest assured that your support has made a lasting and positive impact on the lives of many deserving students. You are truly valued members of our community.

Executive Director, Lenoir Community College Foundation
Mrs. Jeanne Kennedy

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Theatre is a powerful form of live entertainment that brings us together, allowing us to connect and engage in a shared experience. In our community, theatre plays a crucial role in sparking conversations, fostering empathy, and encouraging critical thinking. It provides a place for diverse voices to be heard and stories to be told, reflecting the richness and complexity of our society. These live performances entertain, educate, inspire, and challenge us to see the world from different perspectives.

For our cast and creative team, theatre creates a sense of belonging and unity, strengthening the very core of who we are as people. In this space, we stand together, loving each other through our struggles, helping each other face our fears, and creating a space where we can all be our authentic selves.

We cannot thank you enough for being here in this space with us as we present this masterpiece of Golden Age Theatre. Without your continued support, we could not bring these stories to life on stage. We are grateful you have chosen to spend your time with us, and hope you enjoy the show that taught us generosity (in time, effort, finances, and love) is essential to true happiness.

Mrs. Jessica Cruz
