Amazon Stock Photography
Since 1989, Leonide Principe has participated and organized expeditions that have taken him to the four corners of the Amazon. During his first stage of analog photography, he organized a photographic archive of 40,000 images, selected and classified according to topics such as fauna, flora, landscapes, natives, caboclos, research, tourism, culture... At the turn of the century, the photographer decided to migrate to digital photography. He sold the photographic archive to the Amazon State government and studied the new techniques for 5 years. Without nostalgia, the new compact and portable digital archive has reached 20,000 RAW images and continues to grow. The photographer is also a tree climber, and takes his art to the highest layers of the forest, a world as unexplored and mysterious as the ocean depths.
