DEAR LETTERBOX We take a look at some of your home problems and offer you the best advice.

I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH KITCHEN CUPBOARD SPACE, HOW ELSE CAN I HAVE STORAGE WITHOUT PUTTING UP MORE CUPBOARDS? New properties certainly lack lots and lots of kitchen storage space. And there is nothing worse than having to install more cupboards. Open shelving however is easy to install and a great feature for your kitchen. Consider plain white floating shelves to showcase and store your pretty cutlery, freeing internal cupboard space for food and dishware.

MY DOWNSTAIRS LOO DOESN'T HAVE A WINDOW. IT CAN BE VERY CAVE LIKE - HOW CAN I MAKE IT MORE INVITING? This is so common, especially when the downstairs WC is located under the stairs. Whilst you're not going to get natural light into that space, using reflective surfaces where possible, and light bright colours too, you can allude to a open, airy space. Keep your paint light, and hang a big mirror if possible to bounce any light you do have around the small space.
