Music Composed by Ed Thomas Lyrics by JB Rose & Ed Thomas
Set in a studio based in Notting Hill, the beautiful and ever talented Tan makes her last big bid for show biz success by rekindling an old relationship with her ex-manager and lover Si. Tan is not prepared for Ismee, Si’s brilliant, talented, feisty new signing. With a colourful cast of actors, singers, musicians and rappers, this contemporary insight into the music business propels us into a vibrant and brutal world of winners and losers. The Development Process Over the past two weeks 7 talented actors have been part of an exciting process of shaping and exploring The Next Big Thing allowing the writer JB Rose with the help of the director Angela Michaels to mould and shape the storyline, explore themes and create the music for this important contemporary play about the music industry. The evening will be followed by an after show discussion. Tell Tarra welcomes your feedback on the piece.
