PIECE POINT
PIECE POINT snack in peace mission statement PIECE POINT is a modern Cambodian influenced snack bar. The logo is in khmer writing literally translating the word “piece” because guests are only grabbing pieces of meals, not an entire entrée. Guests can grab small portions of food that will satisfy their appetite without feeling like they ate an entire meal - hence snacking in peace.

In the Cambodian culture, bananas are the national fruit and the Palmyra palm is the national tree. Therefore, many desserts and dishes contain banana and palm sugar (or toddy palm). The Palmyra palm and banana tree also have economic uses in the Khmer culture such as using the leaves for thatching (roofing) , mats, baskets, fans, and umbrellas. As for banana leaves, traditional desserts and foods are wrapped in them for many reasons: gives the food a unique flavor, makes meat tender, keeps the food fresh and has antioxidants!
