Mission Statement
Teodulo’s Kamayan restaurant is bringing authentic Filipino fiesta food for all to enjoy with their friends and family. Kamayan is a traditional Filipino way of eating, meaning “with the hands,” where all of the food is placed in the center of the table on banana leaves and is eaten “family style.” Teodulo’s brings a home cooked feeling to their food and their restaurant, welcoming their guests into their home to enjoy a traditional Filipino fiesta while eating in the traditional Kamayan way.

Promotional Plan Teodulo’s Kamayan will utilize print and web advertising to promote the bussiness to new consumers. Various print media will include posters, flyers, and billboards. Magazine ads will be included in food or travel magazines, such as Travel+Leisure and Food Network. They will also be included in the local area magazines, such as Los Angeles Magazine, to promote to the local population. Teodulo’s will also utilzie bus stop ads and truck ads, such as catering trucks or food trucks. The Teodulo’s food truck will appear at different areas and events in the city; on Sundays they will appear at Smorgasburg LA, Tuesdays they will be at the Old LA Farmers Market, Thursdays they will be at the Hollywood Night Market, and on Saturdays they will be at the Santa Monica Pier. They will also appear at select events such as the 626 Night Market or the Food Bowl Night Market. Teodulo’s will also use web ads which will appear as banners or sponsored posts to families to promote the restaurant on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It will also appear to those who are interested in Filipino, or foreign food in general. We will also partner with food blogs on Instagram such as Foodwithsoy or Foodwithmichel, and YouTube content creators such as BuzzFeed Worth It and Bon Appetit to help promote the restaurant and food truck.
