t LeafHouse what we want is to create a safe place for homeless people to stay and receive the help they need. LeafHouse is an apartment-like place that offers casule rooms to homeless people who qualify. Things that will be included in the capsule rooms are: a bed, blanket, pillow, sheets, an outlet, a shelf, and storage area. Other basic living needs that will be offered at LeafHouse will be a kitchen area, bathrooms and showers, and 24/7 staff assistance available at the front desk. We will work with other pre-existing organizations that offer services that help homeless people with food, jobs, education, tech, and medical services. Our goal is to offer low income or free housing and provide access to other organizations that aim to help the homeless people in LA.

ecause LeafHouse is a charity we have two target markets. Our target market for our housing and other services are the homeless people and families in LA. Our other target market is the people who want to donate to LeafHouse and make a difference in the community. We will create awareness of LeafHouse by posting street ads on benches, busses, the metro, and bus stops around the city, and we will air an ad on LA news channels and social media. There will be more information about LeafHouse on their website, Facebook, and Instagram. On
the website people will be able to donate and buy products that help support the LeafHouse community. Every donation of $15 or more will receive a bracelet with the LeafHouse logo on it. We will also have a “buy one, give one” offer on blessing bags, that means that the customer will receive a bag with snacks, sanitary products, and information about homeless services in it to give to a homeless person in their area and LeafHouse will give one away too. The organizations that we will be working with are: SNAP - food stamps, The Mission, Hope for LA - homeless kits, There’s a better way jobs, (CTA) Mobile 4 All - phones, and HHCLA - medical / mental health and addiction. We will also give flyers to each organization to distribute to their consumers. To build LeafHouse we plan on remodeling an old building in LA.
