Mission Statement At Marching Harriet our goal is to take vintage clothing and update it to something fun and cool to wear for young women. Our clothing is sophistocated and stylish with a quirky vintage twist. Each and every garment is hand made by the owner, Isabelle Soderberg. “I only make clothing that I myself would feel sexy in. I can take an old lady dress and turn it into something fresh to wear on the weekend with just a few modifications�

Promotion Plan Marching Harriet is a one of a kind boutique in the Melrose shopping district in Los Angeles. The target audience for Marching Harriet is young women who are looking to wear clothing that is vintage but with a modern and sexy update. This is not mass produced clothing. Many of the garments are one of a kind and all are hand made personally by the owner. This makes the price a little more expensive than the average store but still affordable enough for the average buyer. Even though this is a one of a kind store, with enough popularity it has the potential to expand its target market past the Melrose crowd and into other trendy shopping areas around Los Angeles and beyond. The ad campaign for Marching Harriet will be in a variety of outdoor locations such as billboards, buses and taxis in order to reach a wide audience. Ads will also be places in fashion magazines in order to reach the intended audience. 2
