Minimum 17 years of age or high school graduate Valid Red Cross or American Heart CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification (CPR-FPR) Valid Red Cross Lifeguard Training or YMCA Lifeguard certification (includes Standard First Aid or Community First Aid and Safety) Previously demonstrated experience with a swim team program including knowledge of correct strokes and racing techniques Ability to teach as well as coach Knowledge of the Meet Manager software preferred

Respon sibilit ies: Assists Swim Team Coach with the day-to-day swim team practices and with all aspects of swim meets.

Per iod of Em ploym en t : June 27 - August 19, 2022 Monday to Thursday 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. (plus weekly meets during the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.)

Salar y & Hou r s: $13.50/hour; 8-10 hours/week

Respon sibilit ies: Instruct private or semi-private (No more than 2 patrons of the same level) Red Cross swim lessons to individuals of all abilities. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length, held only when the instructor is not scheduled to work and must be during open swim time. Lesson date(s) and time(s) will be discussed between the instructor and parent.
