no BusIness like Show Business! Autumn’s key imaging events are set to demonstrate the direction of our industry.
Once every two years, autumn brings not one but two crucial imaging events to retailers: photokina in Cologne, and the UK’s very own Retail Imaging Show. 2012’s photokina, held from 18th to 23rd September, will centre heavily around the influence of mobile technology and video on the imaging market, and you can read more about this in our special report on page 6. As always in photokina years, The Retail Imaging Show will offer a recap of all the news and products from Cologne for UK visitors who didn’t make the trip over to Germany. Hosted at Mercedes Benz World in Weybridge, The Retail Imaging Show has
been carefully designed to bring maximum benefit and opportunity to UK retailers. This year, the show will tie in with Pixel’s stance as the magazine that understands the world of imaging retail, multiple and independent, past, present and future, with exhibitors from all walks of imaging, electronics and more. Look out for our special edition on 11th September for all you need to know on this year’s event. Also taking place on 12th October at Mercedes Benz World is the annual Pixel Trade Awards ceremony, where brands and companies are awarded accolades voted for exclusively by Pixel readers. and you will find all the details for this year’s awards on page 5.
